A couple of months ago I started hydroponic gardening and love it but am now needing to transfer my plants to containers outdoors. I only had a small trowel to transfer soil to the containers and was getting quite messy with the soil and it was getting on my clothes. I knew that I needed an apron to garden and loved the look of this apron.When I received this gardening apron I was very impressed. The fabric is strong and repels the dirt that I spill on myself. I am a larger girl and I love the adjustable hook waist strap. The crossing back straps make this apron feel very secure. The pockets are perfect to hold my trowel and small trimmers. I am also trying to be more environmentally conscious and love that this apron is made of recycled bottles.If you are looking for a great gardening apron this one fits the bill. The amount of pockets alone make it a winner but I love that it fits me comfortably and is very well made.

I got this for my partner and she absolutely loves it! She's an avid gardener and really wanted an apron to protect her clothes and have somewhere to put her tools while she's working. The apron shows no signs of wear after a couple months of use and I expect it to last. The material is strong but not too stiff or uncomfortable. I haven't had a full gardening season to try this apron out, but so far, it's pretty stiff. I like that there's a pocket specifically for scissors to keep them from pushing through a regular pocket, but I wish it had a collection pocket as well. I know that it'll be good when I have my tie up tape so I'm not constantly losing it, but if it had an extra large pocket on the front, I would be 5 stars for sure! Hoping it'll soften up after wearing it next spring, but if it doesn't, I'm not sure I'll wear it as much as I'd like to.

I already have a Farmer's Defense garden hat and matching protective sleeves so I knew when I selected this apron via Amazon Vine that this was a company I could trust and this apron did not disappoint. I love aprons and have quite a collection of them but I hate wearing my nice kitchen aprons to do outside work like gardening and especially when I take care of my chickens, ducks and geese. This apron does everything I need it to. It protects me from getting wet when I use the hose to fill their waterers. It protects me from bird poo, even the very messy, wet duck poo, when I have to hold one of my birds. The water and poo would go right through my cloth aprons but not this one. I love the big pockets and the snaps that keep them closed. The one pocket that doesn't have a snap is deep enough to hold my iPhone 15 and it doesn't fall out when I bend over to gather the duck eggs off the coop floor. The only thing I would add to this apron is a loop to put a hand towel through. Because of the water repellent nature of the apron it's not the best for wiping my hands on so having something to hang a towel from would make this apron perfection. I now keep this apron hanging by the back door so it's always available when I need to go take care of my birds or work in the garden. I highly recommend it to anyone who gardens or has farm animals to care for. I received this item via the Amazon Vine Program in exchange for my honest review.

This is a nice sturdy apron.Fabric is recycled and environmentally friendly. The fabric is non-absorbant, so it protects you from moisture and stains. The only slight drawback to that feature is it's kind of noisy to move around in - "swish swish swish."The fit is a little tricky. I'm plus size. At first, I had a really hard time getting the straps all adjusted to fit comfortably. It tends to ride too high up around the neck, and that is uncomfortable too me - it feels restrictive. This is because of the back crossover strap design. Because of this design, it tends to gap/bulge out at the top.I almost think I'd prefer the traditional halter neck arrangement. But, I can see where this design would be more secure for heavy duty gardening tasks. It does have a lot of room for adjustments, and a sturdy swivel snap to fasten.I LOVE all the pockets. The canvas pocket has two compartments. Perfect for small snips or scissors. A narrow trowel will also fit.The snap pockets are a very nice, practical feature. I like to put my cell phone in the upper one - I don't have to worry about it falling out. You could keep seed packets, twist ties, etc in there, too.There's also a long narrow pocket for a pencil. I actually think it would be cool to put a light pen flashlight in there - I'm always rooting around in the garden shed looking for stuff, and this would be handy!Overall, this is a really practical, well-made item.
