These horns may or may not be good for the job. However, the amazingly poor choice of connectors on the jumpers provided with them make the kit nearly useless. I spent hours over a couple days troubleshooting the installation. I kept having what looked like ground problems. The root problem was the Farbin jumpers. They are so poor at doing their job I kept “fixing” the problems only have the horns still sound terrible the second or third time I tested. After replacing nearly everything (horns, relay, etc.) I finally looked at the connectors on the wire used for power in, horn to horn and horn to ground, all made from the Farbin jumpers. I finally realized the problem was moving, the connectors supplied with the horns are so weak they can’t make a reliable connection. Replacing them with new connectors fixed the problem. I checked the connectors, the ones that came with the horns are made with roughly 0.25mm steel, the ones I bought that worked are made of 0.41mm metal. Yup, the replacement parts are nearly twice as thick, makes you understand why the Farbin jumpers are less than useless, they deform are soon as they are installed. Bottom line, just move the jumpers from the Farbin box directly to the trash and you may be happy with these horns. I left the “name brand”(Fiamm) horns I bought while troubleshooting in place, the Farbin parts are just sitting on my bench. When I got things to work briefly while troubleshooting they sounded strong. If you use the included jumpers I believe these horns will fail with on installation or soon thereafter. Given the crap jumpers I have deep concern over the quality of the horns but nothing to confirm that opinion.

The qualty of this product is excellent. The small details such as the connectors all lock into place when connected. The wiring is the proper gauge for the amperage. The 4 mounting brackets are thin if you need to bend them but doubled up are plenty strong. The horns are loud and solidly built. The install was super easy, they fit in the location of the OEM horns. Wired as instructions recommended except I connected the blue wire from the relay to the OEM horn wiring so it is activated by the horn switch on the steering wheel and not the supplied button.

These are loud horns by the original equipment manufacturer of the single horn installed by Honda in my 2024 CRV. The original horn seems slightly beefier in construction but the difference may not be significant to longevity and reliability. My package contained four horns (two high, two low) but lacked much of the attachment pieces advertised. This made installation troublesome to fabricate wire connectors and find suitable nuts. I did not purchase a Honda power connector piece or Y-cables but they would likely have been useful. I installed one high frequency horn and one low frequency horn using the factory mounting points in front of the radiator. An additional bolt was needed for the passenger side which had a threaded hole in the right location for a second horn but with no bolt. The new high frequency horn (driver's side) fit well. I modified the bracket for the low frequency horn to recess a bit more toward the engine. The low frequency horn is larger than the high frequency horn and the horn mouth fit very close to a barrier so that there was very little clearance for sound to escape using the supplied mounting strip. I bent the mounting strip so that the horn mouth would be aimed at an open area and I cushioned the back of the horn to avoid transmitting a rattle to the car frame. The wire tabs on the horns are sturdy and can be bent if needed. I rigged an electrical connector to mate with the Honda power connector and used heat shrink tubing at each wire end. I used sections of CPAP air hose for wire protector sleeves and two 5-position WAGO style splicing connectors for the middle connections between the power and the two horns before wrapping the splicing connectors with Gorilla tape. There is a significant sound level increase with the two new horns installed. It is now a big-car horn and enough like a locomotive horn to satisfy me.

Installed these on a HD motorcycle to replace the anemic factory horn. Sounds like a Buick! Just what it needed.

These were pretty difficult to get to fit in place of the stock horn, but once I was done I was very pleased with the sound. The kit comes with a low tone and high tone horn that are a minor third apart just like most factory horns of this style are. So, these are two-tone unlike your standard little "beeper" that many of you are probably here to replace.Definitely get it with the harness. I'm not sure I would trust the stock horn wiring to handle these two horns at once without blowing a fuse, and it additionally made the installation process a little easier for connecting the two horns. Before you go to install these, you will need:- to know how to crimp wires, and have a wire crimper/stripper(you probably already own some. they're like $5 if you don't)- butt connectors (yes, they're called that at the hardware store)- ring/fork terminals(for cars with only one horn wire). Connect the white wire on the harness to a grounding point with one of these terminals if your car only comes with one wire.- a set of sockets and screwdrivers. for most cars you'll only need a 10mm socket but might need a few different ones to get access to the horn.Whole process took me about 45 minutes including trial and error. Check all grounding points before you try the horn and make sure that the hood closes, too. Will update this review should I have any issues down the line.

Easy to install just splice onto factory wiring just 4 wires. Comes with everything you need to adapt. Sounds more aggressive than my car’s stock horn. Let’s see how long it last. So far so good.

The sound is outstanding, very clean and powerful but the on/button doesn't work so it took me a while to figure it out while installing it ... installed and reinstalled a few times before I understood what was the problem... I wish the seller would replace it but I don't know how to contact him...
