I tested the Fangkic Freeze Dried Passion Fruit straight out of the bag with no recipe, and as you’d expect, it had a super concentrated, powerful passion fruit flavor. That first bite let me know this stuff is strong and full of flavor.Next, I mixed a few cubes with cold water and added a teaspoon of maple syrup to see how it would work as a drink. It turned out nice and refreshing. The only thing I didn’t love were the floating seeds, so keep that in mind. I’ll probably try it with alcohol next time. It definitely has potential.

I like to keep snacks at my work desk. Freeze dried is one of my best options for my area since it doesn’t need refrigeration. This was my first time to have freeze dried passion fruit and I love it! For me this is a sweet, crunchy and healthy snack with no mystery ingredients that I can snack on with zero guilt.

These freeze dried passion fruit chunks are intensely sour, which makes them a fun addition to smoothies, cold drinks, or as a topping for yogurt. I appreciate that they are 100% natural with no added sugar or preservatives, so you get the real flavor of the fruit. The resealable jar helps keep them fresh and portable for snacking or travel. While they might be too tangy to eat on their own, they add a nice burst of flavor to recipes and beverages. Although it may not be needed I do add my own silica gel desiccant to the jar to keep them fresh.

I like the quality of this product. The fruit is cut into neat cubes and some have the black seeds on one side. They taste tangy and sweet and were nice in some yogurt with granola.

These are well cared for and freeze dried. They seem fresh and very flavorful. They are a little on the tart side although the amount of sugar and sweetness is appropriate to the fruit. I dont know if all passion fruits are this tart and sweet, or this is just a factor of the freeze drying, but these are more along the lines of of a sour candy than a fruit. These would be best mixed with yogurt or in a smoothie to balance out the flavors. I can say that the passionfruit seeds are still in these, so there's a bit of an odd alarming appearance where it almost looks like mold on the cubes. This of course doesnt affect the flavor and thats just what passionfruit looks like, but I did get a concerned comment from a family member I was sharing these with.

If you like passion fruit and quick-dissolving, sticky things, then you may like this. I didn't really care for it, though. I popped a couple in my mouth and immediately puckered. It then dissolved to almost nothing. I bit down and had a noticeable crunch from the seeds and the remnants of the fruit stuck firmly to my teeth. Had to pick it out and swish a lot of water to clean my teeth off.As far as the look of it, it is somewhat off-putting. I thought they were moldy at first glance, but it was the seeds.I do like the way it was packaged, though. It had a metal pull tab that was easy to remove, unlike a lot of containers that have the glued-on seal that is hard to remove.Update: the missus read the label and we realized it can be used as a drink or tea. I heated up a little water and tossed in a couple. They dissolved completely except for the seeds, which floated. The seeds were crunchy, but you can skim them off easy enough. I added a little sugar, and it wasn’t too bad. I’ll be adding it to my glass of ice tea for a while.

These freeze-dried passionfruit are very tasty; the flavor is very strong so I do not recommend eating it by itself, as you could do with other freeze-dried fruits like strawberries. These are better when diluted with water or blending into a smoothie due to its strong flavor.

Not sure if passion fruit is suppose to taste like citric acid or not but this jar definitely tastes like cubes of citric acid
