Made some bracelets and repaired others, hopefully the elastic will remain strong and last a long time.

I have a crystal beaded bracelet, made with kyanite and aquamarine beads, pretty heavy for beads, I think. So, it eventually broke. I gathered up the beads and proceeded to try to find something to string them along with. I ordered one brand from Amazon. That was way too stretchy. The beads just hung off my wrist. So I tried fishing line. That didn't give at all. I couldn't put it on my wrist once it was strung together because it wouldn't stretch at all. So I tried other brands of string cords. All to no avail. Finally, I decided to read purchaser reviews and I saw that there were negative review saying that this cord did not stretch enough! Well I thought, perfect! And purchased this one! - Eurika! I have my favorite bracelet back! (I will not create a negative review for the other brands I purchased, seeing that there are different cords for different purposes, and although they did not suit my needs, that's no reason to leave a bad review of the product!!!)

I bought this string to get into beading, specifically beading kandi bracelets and cuffs. It works great for bracelets and ties off easily if you know what you're doing (the trick is to do a square knot and put something small like a pen in the middle of the knot to tighten it before fully closing it off). However, cuffs are a fully different story. This is my first time working with this kind of string so it may be a common occurance, but this string ties itself up into knots so easily when I take off too much string at once and I can never actually tie a knot when I need to. Somehow this string managed to make better knots than I could!! And I can't even think about tying off the cuff without some glue on hand, cuz no matter what I do I can't tie it off without it coming apart! So in general it's good for bracelets if you're fine with compromising but I'm gonna be trying out other brands for cuffs.
