This kit is such a fun project to do with your family. It comes with pretty much everything you need, including one extra panel. It only fits 4 panel slides though, so families of 5+ would need a different option. The kit I received had an uneven slot so one of the panels was very difficult to slide in, and sits slightly bubbled. Otherwise, it is a decent product with good paints and a great family art project!

What I received looks like a second hand product. The sheets were scratched and dirty. It is not what is being advertised.

You are provided an entire paint kit so you can let your kids go ham and get as messy as they want. This also can double as a frame kit for whatever else you want and you can have the kids use the "handprint" portion for something else if you wish. The frame kit itself is pretty decent, though of course you are paying a premium because the point of this is the handprint keepsake. Not much to say except that it is very simple and straight forward and was not too big of a mess to clean up.

We are a family of three with one on the way. This was really fun to do together. It comes with several tubes of paint, a rather small paint brush, two markers and the frame. The frame includes 5 sheets of plexiglass, one spare, and 4 slots to slide the finished product into. We each did our handprint and when the baby comes we will add hers. It's a really neat project to do as a family and something special to Jang on the wall. The frame is a nice quality too!

This all-in-one kit contains acrylic paints, two markers, five acrylic sheets a paintbrush and a frame. All the materials seem to be mid-level quality. They are similar to the supplies I might expect to find at my favorite hobby shop. I especially like the white pen, which leaves a smooth, opaque line on acrylic. I like that this is a project in which the whole family can participate, and it results in a keepsake that can be treasured for years.I originally started making handprint art, but I was having difficulty making my handprint look nice and not smeared, so midway through my project, I decided to wash off the paint and make a shadow box instead. While most of the paint came off, there are some stubborn smudges that still remain after vigorous scrubbing, so I would recommend trying to get the print right the first time.If I were to try this again, I'd make sure to plan ahead and perhaps try rolling the acrylic paint onto a glass plate and then sticking our hands in the paint prior to making prints on the acrylic sheets. That might work better than trying to paint our hands first. I would also want to create this somewhere close to a sink. The instructions indicate the paint should be washed off hands immediately after making the print. There is no indication of whether or not the paint is non-toxic, so I wouldn't want to have this on my family's skin for more than a few seconds. Also, I would be sure to supervise young children to keep them from putting their hands in their mouths while they have paint on them.Even though my handprint art wasn't perfect, I still ended up with a beautiful piece. This works extremely well for making cut paper shadow boxes. The acrylic works as a stabilizer for cut cardstock, and each layer can easily slide into the seven-by-eleven inch premade slots, and the frame is open, allowing it to be lit from behind. This an easy way to make professional looking shadowbox art.
