These are much harder than the Kplc2 ice cream sandwich pads. They are also clearly high quality. They are very comfy for the pad holder, not so much for the kicker, which is perfect. So far they are great!

The actual pads feel good to hold and hit. However, leather coating is peeling on thumb area after use for 6 months (average 2x a week). This was unexpected given the quality advertised and price point. Granted, this could be an individual defect given this is only on one pad. Would be a 5/5 if it made it at least one year without any peeling.

These pads are both good for both Muay Thai and boxing. They are very very absorbable and made very well. I highly recommend these for boxing which is interesting because most people just use handmitts, but these are really good if you're older and don't want to injure your hands.

La verdad era como esperaba, habÃa escuchado que el kickpad era pesado para principiante, pero la verdad es que creo que está bastante bien.Tiene ciertos detalles en el cuero que está doblado en la parte cercana al codo, es casi simétrico, pero me lo esperaba ya que el cuero es asà y seguramente es donde se ocultan los dobleces de los acolchados interiores. El resto es pura perfección.Conozco el fairtex KPLC2 que tiene diseño con partes blancas y he entrenado con ese KPLC2. Este que es de cuero se siente al colocarse más suave y más amable con la piel, pero no es importante.Dónde se golpea el KPLS2 (superior) parece tener un refuerzo que el KPLC2 no tiene. Sin embargo no noto diferencia de peso como dicen otros entendidos.Me considero principiante, si puedes comprar estos KPLS2 házlo, pero si tú presupuesto no lo permite o no hay stock. El KPLC2 es muy muy bueno también. No estoy seguro que haga la diferencia entrenar con unos o con los otros, quizas exista esta protección adicional si mi memoria no me falla, pero no estoy seguro.De todas formas les recomiendo la version más barata. Yo los compré para entrenar con ellos por muchos años, creo que es más un producto de lujo que realmente una mejora funcional, asà que no sientan que deben ir por estos focos en vez de su modelo que no es 100% cuero. Son muy parecido en verdad. No he entrenado aún con estos 100% cuero. Actualizaré cuando lo haga

My trainer had these and after trying them I bought myself a pair. Definitely best thai pads I've used. A couple of nice features.......slight curved design, quality construction, feels great during drills.
