I originally thought these were 40pin single row headers per the description, but they turned out to be double row headers.Build quality seems good with all pins straight. The bottom of the headers has enough room to fit through a pc board and be soldered in place.The headers can be snapped off to size as needed, but since they’re double pin header, you can get a 2pin header as a minimum (not a single pin). Snapping just a pair of pins off is a bit difficult as it does cause a bit of damage to the plastic if not gripped 100% correctly. Snapping off 4 or more works better, but still doesn’t snap off clean as there is some burrs that may need to be sanded down if you need a perfectly tight fit with another set of pins.Unfortunately, these were the incorrect product or incorrect product description, but in any case, it would still be perfect for small electronic projects with STM32, Arduino or with a Raspberry Pi or even to repair any electronics or computer motherboard. If you do require single headers and get double, you could technically snap off 2 pins at a time and make your own single row. At the time of this review, the pin headers were priced at $20.99 which are fairly expensive for single row headers vs comparable products on Amazon.
