Who doesn't love disco ball. We got this for a dance party we were hosting and it worked out GREAT. It was easy to hang and everyone loved it. Ours was just the ball, no remote or lights.

This disco ball is perfect for our plan to convert the open space between our house and garage into a casual gathering room. Picking it up, I was surprised by the size of the 16-inch shiny, silver ball. It's a big ball made up of tiny mirrors, each less than half an inch square. Simply holding the ball up and moving it through a sunny room creates a beautiful light display. Running my hands lightly over the ball, I found all the mirror tiles firmly attached. I doubt any will become dislodged, but the manufacturer even included extra tiles just in case.Despite being covered in mirror glass tiles, the ball is surprisingly light. A metal O-ring at the top allows for secure hanging from a hook. I plan to use a rotating hook, often sold for disco balls, to create a moving light effect perfect for a dance floor. There's nothing wrong with the ball; it looks perfect and ready to party. Five stars!

I've owned several mirror balls over the years and finally bought one that is PRO sized! I finally found this one for under $100 in a Prime deal so I had to get it. It's also nicer than the other 16 inch balls as it has smaller mirrors, with more rows, which means more effect. They also sent a couple extra mirrors to fix any mishaps. Great quality mirror ball and I could not be happier!

Ordered this disco ball for the occasional get-together at the house. At first sight, it seems perfect. It is large, about the size of a beach ball. The construction is made of a foam insert and covered with small crystal squares covering the entire surface. My product came with all of the crystal squares intact, but it includes extra crystal squares as replacement in case any of the squares fall off or break. The packaging was a little light, with minimal protection as other reviews have stated. Fortunately, the package came intact, and none of the squares were damaged. Just note, that this is only the disco ball in the package. You will need to purchase the mechanism that spins the ball in place. Otherwise, this ball will be stationary and sit in one position.The only issue I see with this product is the listed price at the time I ordered, which is $89 as of Jan 2024. It seems kind of steep to me for a product that probably costs less than $10 in raw materials and manpower. Someone who knows handcraft could buy the material from any hobby store and put in some time and dedication to make a similar ball for a fraction of the cost. But I guess part of the price is the convenience of the finished product.

I ordered this disco ball because i like bling stuff. I laughed so hard when i opened this box. I told my BF that i planned on hanging this in the bedroom because i like bling. This was before i opened it. He agreed to it. When i opened it, i laughed so hard. This is ridiculously biggg....Oh but I love it.!! The ball was very well packaged. They also had a few extra mirrors in case you need some. But as big as this ball is, i believe they should've provided more mirrors. I have no problems with this disco ball. It is everything you need for a disco party. I believe I will be the envy of the party with my disco ball. I so recommend this ball if you like bling and you ever plan to have a 70's party...

The ball was wrapped in some bubble wrap and placed in a box with a Styrofoam bottom piece and top piece. There was no real side protection and the Styrofoam stop piece was broken. This is not the best packing for protection against shipping damage..Material Quality:I had high hopes for this item but was very disappointed with the actual product. All it is, is a big Styrofoam ball with a bunch of little mirrored glass squares glued to it.Assembly/Build Quality:The build of this disco ball is very poor. It is literally just a bunch of small square mirrored glass pieces glued to a large Styrofoam ball. You could make this yourself with parts from your local arts and crafts store and probable for a fraction of the cost. Because the ball is Styrofoam the ball feels squishy which means when handling it, every time it flexes and squishes you risk dislodging one or more of the glass squares. This is probably why they include several extra pieces because they know you will be replacing them as they fall off. The glass squares are also not evenly attached. They are literally crooked in all directions including lying flat against the ball. This is my first ever disco ball, so I don’t know if they are all made like this, but if so, I will make my own before buying another one.Marketing Material:The images posted with this listing (at the time of this review) show the product with probably one of the best assembled ones they had or they took extra care to assemble the one to be used in the photos because the glass squares look pretty straight in the photos.Functionality:The ball has a bolt imbedded into it which has the hanging ring attached to it. Because the core is all squishy Styrofoam it is questionable how long the bolt will remain anchored inside the ball. Also, because the glass squares do not lay flat on the ball there is always an edge raised up and the glass edges seem very raw cut and as such have very sharp edges. I actually cut my finger just taking it out of the box.Price:This item is listed (at the time of this review) for $89.99. There is no way this item is worth 90 bucks. As I mentioned above, you can probably buy all the materials to make this yourself at an arts and crafts store for maybe $15-$20.Likes:I like the size. The diameter is pretty large.Dislikes:There is a lot about this item I do not like: the price, how sharp the edges of the glass squares are, how squishy the ball feels when you hold it.Overall:I just cannot recommend this item. It is cheaply made, has a lot of flaws and is way overpriced. It looks good in the pictures but this thing is not going to last, especially if you handle it often (like cleaning it and such). Also, you have to be very careful when handling because you can very easily cut yourself.
