The original light on the step of my rv would come on randomly for no reason. This one seems better, the sensor seems to not be as sensitive and works as it should

We bought these to replace the ones we currently have in our motor home. They work really good but we did not read the description and thought they were broken at first until we realized they were motion detected. All the ones we had in the motor home were the ugly yellow color so its nice to change to led and the white colored lights. They aren't too bright which is what we were wanting where they are just for the hallway lighting.

The product reminds me of the old cracker jacks prizes. This is definitely over priced. Might be cool electronics but it is definitely poor quality over all.

I am pleased to have this motion activated light to replace the unit that malfunctioned. It's a good value and easy to install but remember to supply your own wire nuts.

Got these to replace exact same on my new RV. Two lights did not work, they were on and off constantly all night and day even with no movement. Found these on Amazon and figured it was not worth it to me to take my RV to the dealer to have them replaced under warranty, not worth my time. I ordered these, replaced them myself, so far so good. They work as expected.

I have two of these style lights that came installed in my motorhome. I like them very much and wanted to add another motion sensor light. I installed one of the five lights that came in the box. The light comes on when motion is detected. After the normal timeout of about 25 seconds, the light goes off, and then in one second it turns back on. It then keeps cycling on and off even though no motion is present. I bench tested the other four lights in the box and they also failed to work properly. I even installed two more lights in the motorhome and they also cycled on and off, or just stayed on full time. Meanwhile, the original lights that came with the motorhome work just fine.I purchased a second box of five lights and they were also all defective in the same way.The instruction sheet that came in this box of lights tells you how to install and operate a USB outlet. The instructions have nothing to do with the motion sensor lights.There is also a design flaw in the outer cover. The three tabs on the cover snap into slots on the light base. Once you have snapped the two pieces together, if you attempt to separate them, you will break some of the tabs off in doing so. After that, the cover cannot be reattached to hold together reliably. I recommend filing down the tabs a bit before you snap the pieces together.I want to install these lights, and these lights are just like the ones I already have, but the ones I purchased from Amazon simply don’t work.

I have a keystone Montana and in the control cabinet they put one of these in white. Like in your face bright white! So bright in that location that it blinds me and I can't see the control switches. Keystone also put one straight down next to the stairs. The intensity of light next to the stairs is perfect. The problem with that one is that it glitches and doesn't always come on right away. Probably a short in the light itself. Anyway, I replaced both of the in the these Blue Facon lights and WOW! I like this way more. I can see the switches and the one on the floor is cool too. I am really glad I found these. I have added a color changing LED strip around the island so when I get that on in blue and these are on it looks really cool. They only stay on for a minute but it's cool every time they come on. Simple to switch these out for the originals lights. Just cut and splice with a heat shrink direct connect.

While attending an RV show, I walked past an open door of a Class A and the step light came on. I took a second look and wondered where I could get one for my rig. I found it on Amazon and immediately ordered. Five lights are a bit much even for my 34' Motor home, but the price was good. If desired, one could replace all the switched lights in the basement holds and never worry about leaving the lights on again. I used one as in the picture, kept one as a spare and gave three away to good friends as camping gifts. They are easy to install and provide a lot of light. These pictures are taken with no additional lights on and illustrate the amount of light produced and the spread. I timed mine and it stayed lit for 34 seconds repeatedly after any movement stopped. The cat won't be able to hide on the bottom step any more.
