Has loud buzzing and others can’t hear the sound effects. Or voice changer tried a types of mics headphones. Other gaming pc and the buzzing was all ways there.

My grandson got this for Christmas and and he says it is really good. Sound is good and the mixing works good too.

Wanted to test it for the sound effects connected to a mixes for live sound. It was extremely disappointing when I tried it with the mini cable as it had noise and super low volume. Decided to do more testing before returning it and tried it with an XLR to mini cable, wow what a difference. Decided to keep it and I've been using with no issues. Tried the effects and a condenser mic with no issues.

This sound card is kinda amazing, a far as “functionality” and “sound quality” are concerned. 20 years ago you couldn’t touch anything like this for less than a couple hundred dollars (minimum). The vocal effect presets are good, the on-board special effects are functional for creators etc. Would I use it if I was a professional podcaster? Regularly, probably not. But in a pinch, or if I am traveling etc? Yes, for sure. Definitely recommended for new people creating audio/video content, or for singing karaoke online (like I typically use it for).

I use streamlabs for recording and streaming, I have filters for my mic, so it messes up the sound effects. Tried putting it in on its own just so I can use the sound effects but streamlabs isn't letting me run two mics at once. So unless you're just starting out on youtube or streaming and haven't gone down the rabbit hole of software audio drivers and filters, you might want to get something that has alot if filter options built in. This one has a few good perks but it just doesn't record loud enough on its own. So long story short great to play and have fun with but not great for making high quality videos. Btw I use a phantom power pack for my condenser mic so I know its not a power issue when it comes to volume.
