I tried this face paint for the first time and it’s decent, especially for beginners. The colors are fine, but they’re a bit hard to get to really pop—layers help, but it takes some effort.It comes with two brushes, which is a nice touch, but the sample designs included are kind of odd and not very inspiring. I ended up turning to Pinterest for better ideas and guidance.Overall, it’s good enough for a beginner like me, but if you’re looking for super vibrant designs right out of the box, you might need a little extra creativity (and maybe more product).TL;DR: Great for newbies, but needs more vibrant color payoff and better design ideas.

The paint was used on the face and it came off right after. I was a bit concerned over other reviews that it wouldn't come off but it did. I do recommend this paint palette because it was easy to use and the colors looked great on the skin

I used this face paint for a show I took part in. It was circus themed and I painted my face like a tiger. First thing I noticed was that it went on with greatest of ease, the coverage was amazing, no need to go over areas second or third time to get good coverage. I was able to apply colours over top of each other without them mixing together or smudging. My end result was so good! I’m contemplating using these to do children’s face painting at an upcoming festival. Lastly, it never flaked off my face, I had no smudges whatsoever, and it felt so light on my face, I sometimes forgot I painted it. Very happy with the colour selection as well. Would recommend to anyone who is considering using them for performance, Halloween, or children’s face painting. Will def reorder when I’m running out.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much money we’ve saved by purchasing this face paint and painting our son’s face BEFORE we go to the festivals. It goes on easy, washes off easy and doesn’t irritate the skin. There is no smell and the colors are very vibrant. So glad we purchased this.

Bought this for kid’s Halloween costume last year and then was about to buy red eye shadow for this year, but realized I had this. Wanted to share the red on a darker skin tone - this was only a test. I appreciate that it’s water based and I can make it more opaque if I use less water. I also took an after photo showing it did not stain my skin.

I got to do make up for a production of The Wizard of OZ. There were lots of people in the cast and many of the kids had more than one part and needed a Character look and fast. I had 6 kids that were Munchkin, or Emerald City People then by the second act, six of the little actors had to become flying monkeys. There were other characters as well and I got to work on the Lion and the Tin Man. I had experience with Water Base makeup before with a Children's Dance Theater rendition of all kinds of characters from CATS to the Seven Dwarfs. I had a blast!

Takes many coats to cover and its not even when done. Pictures are misleading and there's no way you will get more than 1-2 uses out of each color. Also, doesn't dry well, cracks a lot. I've been doing cosplay for awhile and I would not suggest this for it at all. If for fun or a kids party, then it would be fine.
