Best thing is there’s finally a book for beginners to learn to piece a lapquilt . A lapquilt is about72” L x 46”w it goes from my neck over my feet -Great for snuggling under, in front of the TV! It’s a great way for a beginner to learn! She even has a book for kids! There are matching U-Tube videos for her to walk you through it start to finish. And her website sells fabric the kits! All you need is a rotary cutter and rulers with a sewing machine & straight pins. I learned how to piece quilts with Fabric Cafe and Ms Robertson! Her directions are clear and precise. Buying the bundles of books saved me money and I plan on making every one of her patterns into lap quilts.

This 7 book package offers so many quilt patterns with clear and concise instructions. I just want to make them all. Each pattern offers hints on how to match your 3 different yards of fabric . As a basic quilter I appreciate all the hints given.

I ran across one of this set at a quilt store. I am all for supporting my local vendors, but sometimes the wallet rules. I purchased all of them (less the two Christmas themed book) as a group. I enjoy looking at these patterns and can see myself making several of them. I would have rather had them in Kindle format but thems the breaks. These books are nice because they also include upsizing options for larger beds, including king. Easy enough for a youngster or someone just starting out to do.
