Great colors for a toddler in case they put them in their mouth. They are not vibrant brilliant colors, but they are a good trade off for oral kids.

I got these for my son's first birthday because I wanted him to have high-quality non-toxic crayons. They color great, and can't beat the price. They are not too thick or thin--we've had them for almost a year now and he hasn't broken any and they seem easy for him to hold. I love that they come in a case, makes storage easy and my son likes to put them away.

I like this crayons my daughter likes them too. They are thick. My only complaint is that the package I purchased doesn't have a pink crayon.

I love these for my 14mo. I had originally gotten him the fingertip crayons designed to prevent choking, but the color didnt transfer well without substantial pressure, and he really didn't seem tonlike grasping them. While I won't let him color alone yet as he still wants to taste everything, he is much more interested in these. They are vibrant, strong, but take little pressure to get good color transfer. The triangular shape is also a bonus, helping him grasp the crayon. They come in a clasping plastic case which I love. It makes clean up easy, amd also lets my LO see and choose colors without having to dumpba box. He loves things that click into place, so he actually enjoys putting these away when we are done, as each crayon has its own slot.It would be nice if they were just a little thicker, but all in all these are great crayons. Will definitely purchase again.

These are good quality and good colours and the carry case is great too. I bought 3 packs for around £8 each, though I see the price is almost double now, and some places are selling them for over £100..do people pay these prices?? I was happy paying £8 for them, but feel £14.00 upwards is a bit pricey .... 5out5 for quality, but I believe they are too highly priced on Amazon now.

Update: After over a month of abuse, the only crayon that broke was snapped in half because my daughter literally jumped on top of it at a weird angle. She has eaten a large chunk off the tip of dark blue and yellow (a budding Van Gogh? For toddlers, it seems, happiness truly can be found in the consumption of a good, bright beeswax yellow). I wouldn't recommend feeding these to your kids for snacks, but considering the speed of their hand-to-mouth action, I'm glad I can rest assured that these are truly non-toxic and generally very difficult to bite into (giving you extra time to wrestle the crayon from your toddler's death grip and calm those tortured screams as you explain in vain that crayons are for art and not for eating). The paper has amazingly also stood up to being slid up and down, scraped against teeth, thrown on the floor, torn at, rubbed against toys and furniture - you name it. I'm really impressed. These crayons are vibrant and smooth and easy to draw with. I bought them to teach my 13 month old how to scribble, and she instantly took to them and loves making wild lines all over her sketch pad now. They easily washed off our enamel tabletop and tiled bathroom walls, but I have yet to experience any marks on the drywall or on wood. Will update if (hopefully not) I ever have to try and remove anything like that, but Mr Clean's Magic Eraser usually works wonders with those kinds of marks so I am not too worried. I have long been a fan of Faber-Castell, having used them myself for art and their pencils, erasers and pastel highlighters in school when I lived in Germany.Other reasons for five stars:The plastic case is a unique and well-thought out addition that holds up really well to grabby little hands that would have torn or eaten straight through cardboard. The large size makes them easy for my one year old to hold in her fist, and the triangular shape is supposed to eventually help her learn to hold the crayons between three fingers. They are extremely durable and have held up well to being bit into, thrown, stood on and slammed repeatedly into a pad of paper for what I can only assume was supposed to be a stippling effect. They are some of the cheapest beeswax crayons on Amazon, but come with 12 great colours.Like all kids crayons, they are non-toxic.I would definitely recommend these and will purchase again once these have worn down to nubs.

Nice vibrant colors, smooth to use. Good size for 16 month old hands. Container is nice and solid, great for transport.Update: 9/27/16So since my first review, my son has eaten a chunk of the turqoiuse crayon. He chewed the chunk into crumbly pieces. It must not have tasted as yummy as it looked because he bought it to my attention by handing me the remaining crayon. He's owned the crayons for sometime by then and I was under the false impression that he no longer had interest in eating crayons (the truth is I never gave him an opportunity until then). I was able to dig out most of the crayon from his mouth and rinse his mouth with water, but still I was freaking out and mad at myself for leaving him unsupervised with it while I washed dishes. The next day, i found little crumbs of crayon in his stool- looked totally undigested. The plus, is he's gotten crayon-eating out of his system, literally. He'll walk around with a crayon in his hand but he's lost interest in eating it. Sometimes he'll tease me by holding it next to his mouth and grinning, but its just to see my expression. He's also colored on the walls (just once- I caught him hiding in the corner doing the deed behind his diaper pail) and accidentally rubbed pigment on the bedding, carpet, clothes, and rugs. The crayons are soft so the simple act of trodding or sitting on the crayon will leave marks on the surface. It doesn't help that my son peeled all the paper wrappers off too. The great thing is with a little wet wipes or Shout stain remover- the crayon marks wipe right off! There is still a faint crayon residue on the wall but I think a Magic Eraser will take care of it. We still love these crayons! So much easier to use then crayola.
