Size XS fits my cat, who due to injury couldn’t go out alone. Very easy to put on without getting clawed! Very comfortable for him to wear; very secure but not restrictive

The harness works great and seems durable; once I got it properly fitted to my puppy I didn't have any issues with it sliding around at all and there's definitely no way she could slip out of it. I also really like the range of bright colors. There are only two things I don't like about this harness:It doesn't have a D–ring on the chest for no–pull leash attachment even though they had the perfect opportunity fir it.And how difficult the step–in design makes putting the harness on my puppy: every time I put it on her it's a struggle with her thinking it's play time.It might be better when she's older and more relaxed, but I think I'll go back to the type of harness that goes over the head and around the belly when she outgrows this one.

Years ago I purchased two of these harnesses when they were only available in red and black. Unfortunately the harnesses outlasted my pups but are still in business being used by two other pups. Recently rescued another furbaby and was thrilled to see that these harnesses were still being manufactured but now they offer a rainbow of colors! Very heavy duty nylon but it's soft and durable with reflective stitching. One piece stainless steel leash attachment for added security, and the quick clip buckles are plastic but durable. The chest plate molds to your pups chest for custom fit and comfort. An added bonus it comes with a secure seatbelt car restrain that I use all the time. This is like a "step in" harness but instead of one top buckle there is two so it's easy on and off. One of my pups was what I called an extreme escape artist, could wiggle out of any harness I put on her. Not this one! This is the only harness I will every purchase.

My husband and I are completely pro harness as there is greater benefit for dogs and our 5 month old Jack Russell puppy prefers them. That being said, we couldn’t say more positive things about this harness! The quality is on par with more expensive brands and holds up very well and is durable. Rich in color, a vibrant shade of iconic and classic red that really gives that stereotypical look for your dog. Our puppy is female but she wanted a fresh look and a big puppy harness now that she has graduated from her pink one. I also like the way the clips are made and the overall concept of the harness, much more coverage and control for your dog and gives us ultimate peace of mind. Great price point too and fit our pup perfectly. Secure and a good alternative to collars, have always used and stood by harnesses and this particular brand by EzyDog will be our go to, and our puppy’s also. Highly recommend!

I have been looking for a good harness for quite some time now. I have tried two types of the Puppia harnesses, a few nylon harnesses and so far this has been the best fit for my dog. The sizing is very accurate, I got an XS for my miniature schnauzer who weighs around 12 pounds. I love the idea that it can be adjusted on both the neck and chest area to provide a custom fit for your dog. After a week of use, the chest plate has already formed to my dog's body and it looks very comfortable. Before buying this product, my dog used the Puppia Mesh Harness. Though it served us well, I never stopped my search for a better harness. The Puppia harness was good and soft but the neck part is a little bit too big and loose that if the dog tries to back up, there is always the chance of slipping and away goes your dog. This harness on the other hand provides a custom fit and I do not see any chance of slippage. The product is well made and I love that it has the reflective stitching which is very helpful during walks at night. The chest plate also stops my dog from pulling and it also gives me more control. I can proudly say that my search for a better harness out there has ended. I am very satisfied with this product and I highly recommend it!

EzyDog Chest Plate Harness, Size Large in Black, for a 68 pound male German Shepherd.I had read the comments of another reviewer saying her dog can now be controlled since using this harness. I wholeheartedly agree! My 68 pound German Shepherd would exhaust me during our walks using either a regular collar or a Martingale collar. My husband kept pushing to purchase a prong collar in an effort to control our boy, but I refused to put one on him (he's 18 months old and a gentle giant). I could only imagine how those metal spikes must feel digging into my own neck let alone my furry friend. I know there are a lot of believers in the prong collar approach, I'm just not one of them. The large EzyDog Chest Plate Harness fits perfectly (mine is black). I keep the front loop that goes over his head snapped, so all I have to do is slip it over his head and have him lift his right leg through the right loop behind the chest plate(easily done and he's almost at a point where he'll do it himself) slide the open end behind his left leg, bring it up his side to his back and connect to the female end of the buckle which is next to the d-ring. It may sound complicated, but it's not - I simply wanted to detail the steps, and it has become a simple motion.I think the chest plate is what performs the magic. It's quite substantial and measures 11" long by 3-1/2" across at its widest point at the top, is not irritating and does not impede his gait. I believe the pressure he feels on his chest when he starts to pull keeps him in check. With a normal collar, he would constantly pull(which was probably only succeeding in making his neck stronger and stronger); and if he spied another dog ahead of us, I lifted off like the Flying Nun! People would ask "Looks like he's taking you for a walk again?". Those days are over, thanks to the EzyDog.....my left knee, foot and elbow couldn't take the strain and abuse of the constant tugging anymore. The materials are sturdy, especially the d-ring to which you clip your leash. It's even easier to clip your leash in with this harness because the d-ring is on the top of the dog's back, not under his neck, lost in the fur, as sometimes happens with a regular collar.By the way, I had also purchased the 6' long Gentle Tug leash in red which has a stretchy 1' long band sewn into the red nylon to absorb shock - for the times our pup would lurch forward or quickly change direction. It's the perfect complement to the EzyDog Chest Harness, though you can't leave slack in the leash or his leg will tangle in the leash loop closest to his harness.EzyDog also makes a bungee type leash, an extension and a life vest. I've purchased the leash/extension for my son to use when he goes long boarding with our pup and will review it in the future. The life vest is on back order so I'll review that piece of equipment once received and we have a chance to go to a local pond for a game of fetch with his new floating Frisbee......our pup seems to need as much gear as a new baby!
