Laser beam was way off sight than my iron sites at 25 yards for my pistol grip shotty, was not even on paper at 25 yards, you’re better off just sighting in with your iron sites

Needed to bore sight my 12ga with a new RDS I put on top for home defense. The base unscrews nicely where you insert three batteries. The laser goes on even before you re-seal the base, and there's no on/off switch. If the batteries are inserted, the laser is on. So be mindful of that. Carefully insert into the chamber and carefully closed the action. Extractor nicely engaged. Fits just right. At 15 yards the laser spot is about 5-6mm, so I doubt this laser would be super useful at "rifle" ranges, but its not an expensive bore sighter anyways. Would probably look elsewhere for anything >50 yards. Able to site in the RDS and all is good.

Got it yesterday , used it today. Was able to quickly determine adjustments needed. Same size as 3” 12ga shell. Uses 3 LR44 button batteries. Came with 2 sets. Got good agreement with a more sophisticated laser that I also got yesterday. I will carry this in my target range bag all the time. Wish I’d gotten the one with the on-off button in the primer cap location but I’m not going to kick this one out of bed. Saved more bucks by not busting slugs to align sights than this tool cost me today alone. Sharp focus, bright red dot.😊

DO NOT adjust your scope based on this laser. Insert the laser, see where it's at then take it out and put it back in (or just turn it in the barrel) and it will move the dot. It is NOT accurate and you, like me, will spend a bunch of time and ammo putting everything back where you got it from. Not even going to go through the hassle of trying to get my money back. Simply throwing this thing in the trash
