Bought this for my hockey loving kiddo. It's sturdy but you have to weave the rope through the net to tie it on (which takes a decent amount of time, I delegated the task to my two oldest kids). As an FYI this net is not full size net. It covers the back and a quarter of the sides, but that's about it. Better than nothing and less expensive than other options.

We have had an EZ goal for a couple of years. The string holding the net up eventually fell apart after constant exposure to the sun. We ordered this replacement, and it fits perfectly.

My hockey net is a regulation 4' x 6' net. When I drape this netting over my net, it comes nowhere close to a proper fit, see the attached pic. Were I to lace this up, the netting would be under such high tension, it will surely fail quickly with hard shots hitting it. Hockey netting always has some slack to it. This one will have none. I quickly returned it to Amazon and complained about misleading advertising.If your hockey net is regulation size, don't buy from this supplier.

I installed this on a foldable, aluminum hockey net from 1975. There is more than enough mesh for our net, since it is smaller than 4’ x 6’, but this would be ideal for a regulation-sized net. The netting is very durable, and there is a lot of string for attaching the mesh to the frame of the net.

We use these hockey nets to make large slow-feed haynets for our horses. We have made a few of these out of different brands and the ezgoal brand is the only one that has held up well. The others have rotted from the rain and came apart with the horses constantly biting and pulling at them. The ezgoal nets stand up to this somehow while the others have basically disintegrated. Very strong and durable. I’d imagine if you’re using the net for its intended purpose this would be the one to buy.

The first net I bought had a net super thin. I train with a green biscuit puck and on my first slap shot, puck went right through the net. So I started looking around for a heavy duty replacement net. I took a gamble with this one. It really is thick and durable. I spent an hour with slap shots, snap shots, and wrist shots with the green biscuit training puck and net shows no signs of wear!!! Very happy with this net!!!
