Sturdy enough and decent material, but a folding net this is not. Folding the goal requires to essentially disassemble the thing with tools. It’s no easy task and pointless to sell this as a foldable net. They’d be better removing that feature from the name. Also, this net use to cost $220+ / now it’s $99. Says enough of there. Find better nets elsewhere. This net will be donated somewhere that doesn’t need folding.

I just received my net today. First off the package is heavy. Assembly was simple and straightforward and all parts clearly labeled.I was assembling in the hot sun so the metal was hot to touch. It actually helped assembly as I had no issues connecting the frame which could be due to heat causing them to swell. Regardless all pieces easily connected together. Stringing the net took the most time.This is heavy duty and feels like it will easily withstand an Al Iafrate slapshot with street hockey balls.The price of $99 was excellent given the quality of the goal. As a point of reference, A Mylec regulation size PVC frame was priced slightly higher.

The goal measures 6 feet and one inch wide...one inch bigger than it should be. Height is perfect. Look, we aren't going to be playing professional hockey with it, but it would be nice if the measurements were accurate. Overall, it's a nice net. Putting the frame together didn't take long, but tying the netting onto the frame took a while and was kind of a pain. Folding it doesn't look hard, but you are going to need a screwdriver or something to push the pins in so it folds everytime you want to do so. It is relatively heavy...my kids won't be able to move this on their own, but the benefit is that it won't move around as much either while they are playing with it.

The directions are easy to follow and set up is not too hard. The net is time consuming and zip ties can be easier then tying the whole thing. The fold of the goal is not a clean half fold to lay flat and it is enough to save space. Solid, sturdy and will last.

This is a great quality hockey net for the price. Myself and my kids love it. Setup is a bit tedious but worth it.The hardest part is the mesh. I recommend where the red tag is in the mesh zip tie to middle of the crossbar. And the blue tag for the bottom middle zip tie that as well. Start at the bottom of the net at one post and work your way around from there. Hope this helps.

I'm going to shoot 200-300 ice hockey pucks every week at this goal, and I think this thing could take it. Getting the net attached requires patience. Start with one of the lower corners and work your way around. It actually helps to attach some carabiners to each corner to keep the right tension on the net. Bonus tip, a large painter's drop cloth makes the perfect puck catcher which only costs maybe 20 bucks at a local hardware store. It could also be used to make a shooter tutor as you can see my picture.

This net is SUPER high quality! The piping is durable, though it will dent only very slightly when hit by pucks. It can be a little challenging to fit the net onto the frame (it's a tight fit!), but once it's done, this net surpasses in quality every other net of equal or higher price. We haven't folded it or taken it outside from our basement shooting range yet due to winter, but friends who've had the net for years and leave it outside all year 'round have seen no degradation of the netting. Contrast that to other nets, whose fabric "tunnels" (through which the tube frame runs) rot in about a month. I would HIGHLY recommend this goal!

Takes awhile to attach the net portion but it is relatively simple. This street hockey net is more similar to an actual ice hockey net than any other street Mickey net I’ve seen. It is built well. The fold-up feature was tricky at first but after a little persistence it is now easy to fold up to store or transport. This net is worth the price tag in my opinion. If you’re looking for a cheaper price point, there are other nets out there that will do the trick. But if you’re looking for a sturdy net with regulation size and a regulation feel, this net is the answer.

Received this net yesterday and had it assembled and strung together in an hour or so. Frame is very easy to assemble, and the netting was straightforward to install, albeit a tad time consuming (not the fault of the product, just a hockey net thing). The netting and string seems pretty high quality - not quite regulation net quality, but I'd say 80% of the way there, which does the job for a back yard net. My only small gripe, and I feel like I knew better, was the 75 MPH rating. Once I got the net assembled I got it onto my backyard covid-inspired ice rink and fired a few pucks at it. The first snap shot that found the post left a pretty noticeable dent. Now I'd love to be the kind of dad that can rip 75 MPH snappers standing on ice in my sneakers, but that's just not reality. That aside, this net will definitely stand up to shots from my now 5 year old for a good 5-10 years, so maybe dad just has to dial it back a bit.
