Received it tuesday february 25th 2025 and today february 27th 2025 after less than 200 copies, we had to change it. Just inserted the second one and hopefully it will last longer than the first one. Very disapointing.

They work great, had to replace a couple of them in a few months. Print quality is good and they really are a value for your money.

I received two E-Z ink 64XL ink cartridges for my HP ENVY photo 7858 jet printer. Since it is tax season, it is important my documents are printed in clear, crisp, readable letters. The E-Z black ink cartridge prints with a sharp, clear text. I usually use HP cartridges, which are more expensive. I received two E-Z 64XL black ink cartridges for the price of one HP cartridge. The installation was easy and the ink was immediately recognized by my HP printer. The E-Z ink provides you with a recycling bag for used cartridges; however, like all brands, the cartridge does not fit into my mail slot, so you might need to take it to the post office. The E-Z ink states it cartridges are remanufactured ink, however, I cannot see any difference in the quality compared to HP ink. Overall, the E-Z ink cartridges are cost-effective, high quality and an excellent choice for home use. Highly recommended!

I’ve been buying from this specific brand for more than 5 years now and they are the best! They always work and never give me trouble. Have used them for at least 10 different printers with different inks.

E-Z Ink Compatible Ink Cartridge Replacement for HP 951XL (2) Cyan, (2) Magenta, (2) Yellow, 6 Pack, paid $22.99 on 11/7/23. AISN: B091SMKB8DI have always invested in HP OEM ink cartridges since I bought my printer over 10+ years ago and have steered clear of non-OEM cartridges because of the mixed reviews and reputation for poor print quality and inferior color but more than this, it has been the horror stories about ink leaking out of cartridges and cartridges damaging printers with some even having to replace their printer. But with the high cost that HP demands for their OEM brand cartridges, I can no longer afford to pay the premiums so I finally decided to give the lower cost cartridges a try.So this is actually my first purchase and attempt in using a non-OEM cartridge for my HP Inkjet Pro 8600 Plus printer. I did a lot of research so I can only hope that I made a good selection in buying these E-Z Ink branded cartridges and that the cartridges will prove its worth over the lifetime of using them. At the end of this review, I provide some additional insight regarding information I came across during my online research which you may find of interest in helping you make your own decision in buying a lower cost non-OEM cartridge. So I received my ink cartridges on Nov 8, 2023 which was the next day after I had placed my order. It has now been a little more than one month since I installed and began using these E-Z Ink branded non-OEM Color cartridges (review posted Dec 21).I don’t print everyday, probably print more like 2 to 3 times a week and typically 1-2 pages with each print job. It was an uneventful installation of all there color cartridges and I did not receive any error messages for not using a genuine OEM like others have reported nor have I experienced any issues with my printer not functioning properly. Most importantly, there have been no visible leaks and printer is printer as usual. Now to address the print quality I have been getting from these EZ-Ink Color cartridges. So far, the print color, quality and clarity has been just okay. There is an obvious and noticeable difference in the print quality compared to using OEM. I will say that the colors produced by the EZ-Ink Color Cartridges are not as vibrant as the OEM, color saturation is inferior, color accuracy/matching is not as good, lines and print are not as crisp, and printed graphics may have areas that look faded which means to me that the cartridge is not dropping ink on to the page in an equal and consistent manner. However, for the majority of what I print, the quality is acceptable for my everyday printing needs. I have a small business and I use RGB HEX color numbers to ensure my branding colors are consistent on all my business related documents and in comparison to OEM, the tints and hues of colors are slightly off. It was apparently noticeable in the blue HEX color I use for my business and what printed using the EZ-Ink Color cartridges had a stronger green hue than the blue that prints when using OEM cartridges. Also, the OEM prints match closer to what I see on my computer screen than what these non-OEM cartridges delivered. So if your printing needs require a high quality print, clarity and color matching, the results from these cartridges may not be acceptable to you and although this is only my first experience using a non-OEM, I don’t think any non-OEM can achieve the same print quality that you get from OEM especially if color saturation, crisp text and graphics and true color match are important. Yet, if you’re just looking for a compatible and decent quality lower cost ink cartridge, these EZ-Ink cartridges purchased for my HP Inkjet Pro 8600 Plus, has been acceptable and I would recommend it to others. I will provide an update if anything goes awry but for now, two thumbs up for the EZ-Ink Color Cartridges. Take note that at the time of this review, only color cartridges (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow) were installed and the black ink cartridge being used is an HP OEM cartridge. Also, this review is specific to using these cartridges with the model HP Inkjet Pro 8600 Plus and I have seen others with this same model printer have trouble using non-OEM cartridges. I can only say that read reviews on products and sellers. Good customer service is important when buying non-OEM Cartridges so pay attention to those reviews pointing out sellers that are unresponsive and don’t address reasonable customer complaints. Also, look for sellers who back their products with a good warranty that covers more than 6 months from date of purchase. One last point, consider how often you replace a cartridge within a given month or year and only purchase the quantity of cartridges you will use within 6 months and at most within a year. It’s not worth buying packs that have multiple cartridges if they are only going to sit in your drawer. If you run into an issue it will be more than likely that you’ll have to just throw it away and take the loss. So only buy what you need and don’t fall for the low cost on volume packs unless you’re going to use them.Market Industry Research Insight:I did a lot of research online to educate myself about the non-OEM ink industry and what the alternative options that are available including refill ink kits and the companies who make them. Let me just say this upfront about refill ink kits, just don't do it! Based on what I’ve learned from online sources and many customer reviews, unless you know exactly what you’re doing, I would not recommend this diy project. This solution may seem fairly simple and easy to perform but a lot can go wrong and you can easily overfill the cartridges! It can be messy and cartridges could can leak. Also consider that you are extending the life of an existing OEM Cartridge that was not intended to be refilled. There is just a lot of mixed opinions about refill ink kits so be careful and do your homework including what warranties does the company offer. Instead of refill ink kits, you might as well consider a reputable remanufactured cartridge. To that point, what I learned about remanufactured cartridges is that it is basically a recycled OEM cartridge that has been disassembled, worn or broken parts replaced, extensively cleaned, refilled with ink, and then checked for quality. While a compatible cartridge is a brand new printer cartridge built by a manufacturer other than the OEM printer, similar to buying the generic version of a name brand product.I am under the impression that there may be more companies in business doing remanufacturing of cartridges than there are companies in the business of building compatible cartridge. And I think this is because OEM brands have patents (IP) that stop 3rd-party companies from making copy design compatible (generic) versions. So in order to sell a compatible cartridge, the company has to either uniquely design a new cartridge that will work in the OEM printer without violating the OEM’s patent (IP) or get the OEM company to license their IP so the manufacturer can acquire the rights to manufacturer a generic brand version of the OEM designed cartridge. But HP has consistently shown that they don’t want the competition and has fought hard to keep companies out of this market segment. Consider this, because compatible cartridges are uniquely designed to be different from the OEM brand counterpart due to their IP, there may be a higher risk of failure. However I have also found that despite any structural differences, the manufacture does design the cartridge so it will be compatible to fit and function in your printer in the same way as the OEM cartridge. And just like any generic brand product, there are good generic brands that can be good and save you money and then there are bad generic brands. So again, in this market segment it is in your best interest to do your homework before deciding on a seller and making your purchase. Be weary of companies that don’t provide a good warranty considering a cartridge can be in your printer for an extended time depending on your print practices while others may be sitting in a draw for a while before installing it in your printer. Also be cautious of customers who claim they had a problem and the company’s customer service did not handle their problem or were unresponsive.Another consideration in making your selection on remanufactured vs compatible in particular to HP, I found out that in Jan 2023, HP have filed a lawsuit against a number of 3rd-party cartridge companies doing business on online marketplaces like Amazon over their use of trade dress (look-a-like packaging) claiming that they are deceptively similar to that HP uses on its own ink cartridges. So it begs the question that if HP is successful in overcoming its case, I wonder how it will impact some of these companies that are named in the lawsuit? Will they even be around in the near future? So if you have a problem with your cartridge, who are you going to call?
