So I actually used a barcode scanner previously, however this one really was a much better scanner to use. The box came with the scanner, instruction manual and USB wire. It is super useful that it can be used both wired, wireless or via bluetooth. I think the length to which the scanner lasts without needing recharging allows less interruption whilst working for hours! The other thing that I really like is how many barcodes you can scan without needing to upload immediately. You can go through so many before needing to which again allows for more efficiency when working.

This device is a handheld 2D and 3D code scanner. The scanner has a built-in battery (chargable via USB) and is designed for connecting to a computer. The connection is possible through three methods, bluetooth, wireless (with dongle) or USB. The scanner can scan many types of code, including retail barcodes, QR codes and data matrices.I found this device to be really impressive. For one, the range of codes it can scan is very impressive. It's important to note that the device comes with a very thorough instruction booklet, detailing how to enable or disable scanning of various types of code—this means you can set the scanner to just scan the type of code you want, or to scan all codes if you want. The connection options are very useful, though I found the USB option worked best for me (I didn't have any issue using it wirelessly though). So to are the feedback options, beeping and vibrating when it sucessfully identifies a code. There's also an interesting option where it can be used without a computer, and the device stores the codes itself, then dumps them later once it's connected to a computer. The scanner feels really good quality and it did a good job identifying the codes I tested it with. Overall, this is a really useful device that I definitely recommend if you're looking for something like this.

This barcode scanner by Eyoyo works great. The build quality is excellent and is very light. It is amazing to have a wireless scanner, it is so much more convenient and easy to use. Particularly good for shipments that can be scanned from a distance to your computer/terminal without dragging around a long cord, which is what I used to use, often knocking papers or other things off the desk in the process. The amount of settings in this unit is a bit overwhelming, but very nice to have. I especially like that you can have a vibrate and/or sound, as well as, adjust the sound level if you want the sound at all–I love it on vibrate only.I haven’t tried it on a mobile device yet but I like that it is an option should I switch to a mobile system, or just add a mobile device to the existing system. Great for small businesses or larger ones.

If you need a barcode scanner, then you know what its use is. Most traditional scanners are wired. Typically, they use a USB cable, and older ones would connect to the serial. One of the big advantages of this scanner over the traditional ones is that it's wireless and rechargeable, like the ones used in Walmart. Of course, those ones are super expensive. But this one is very affordable for what it does. I've been using it for a few weeks now, mainly to manage inventory in a small warehouse setup. So far, it's been a reliable scanner. The setup process was straightforward. You get to choose between Bluetooth, WiFi (2.4G), and USB. I mean, depending on what system you are trying to use this scanner with, your preference, and the job's condition, it's great to have these options. In my case, since I mainly bring it with me around the warehouse, it's connected using Bluetooth to my phone. It paired quickly with my laptop, too, and I didn't have any issue switching between devices. The battery life is another plus for sure. It lasted several days of moderate use without needing a recharge. The scanning capability is impressive. It handles a variety of barcodes, including slightly damaged or smudged ones, without much trouble. Of course, the code needs to be complete. I tried it on both paper labels and screens, and it worked consistently well. I also like the automatic scanning mode, especially for tasks where you need both hands-free. But of course, you need to set up a stand for it. I only hope the user manual was clearer and less complicated. Some settings require scanning specific codes from the manual, which might be confusing at first.Overall, this scanner is a solid choice for performance and price. It's lightweight and feels comfortable to use for extended periods. If you need something durable and versatile for libraries, warehouses, or retail settings, this is a good option to consider.

Very temperamental when it comes time scanning, the distance has to be close but not too close. It will not scan from a couple steps away. Connect was fine when it did finally scan.

Bought this to scan drivers license PDF417 into a iPhone app. It reads large PDF417 ok, I tested it with an online PDF417 barcode generator, but the smaller PDF417 on the drivers license doesn't work. The drivers license reads fine with a much more expensive Zebra barcode scanner, a case of not getting more than you paid for, but for the price, this is a good scanner for more general use.

The dedicated dongle was a stroke of genius. It's essentially plug-and-play, so after the initial pairing, you don't have to go searching your computer or BT device to pair it each time (btw it supports HID, SPP and BLE). Unfortunately, the port is USB-A, so if you want to use the dongle on your phone or tablet, you'll need a small female adapter. Otherwise, just use BT. Interestingly enough, the USB cable is pretty thick and charge time is way faster than I was expecting. But the only button on the device is the trigger that essentially acts as an MFB. So there's no power on/off or pairing button. Obviously that makes things pretty easy if you know how to access the modes, and it doesn't ping unless you plug in the dongle or enter the pairing mode. What's kinda cool is that the manual comes with QR codes for the different scanner features and all you have to do to enter them is scan the code. Marvellous feature. As for build quality, it's actually pretty basic. It's mostly a lightweight hollow plastic, but with exceptional resin density. Despite the lack of any rubberized dampeners, it feels like it could take a decent beating. Probably the reason it doesn't come with any buttons on it in the first place. Unfortunately, the little indentation for the dongle is right on the bottom of the handle and pointing downwards, so if you're not using it, it might be a good idea to either take it out or really jam it in there. It's just a pressure-fit so it doesn't click into place. The ergonomics on the handle are great though. Perfect size and length for my hand, with an ideal angle to the head so it's incredibly comfortable to hold. The plastic is perfectly smooth too so it's very easy to wipe clean. The speaker on the top is super loud and the light is easy to see. Kind of a minimalistic design to be sure, with no screen or battery life indicators (you can get the battery life data by scanning a code in the manual); but it would've been nice to at least have a silicone plug for the port on the bottom, as well as a more secure place for the dongle. As for function, I haven't had the connection or battery fail on me yet, and I've mostly been using it on normal mode, where the data immediately gets transferred into my spreadsheet. The transfer lag is effectively zero when using the dongle, and there are at least 2 other devices on my desk that use the 2.4 Ghz band, so it doesn't seem to be bothered by background interference. Fortunately, when using bluetooth, you can even slow the transmission time using the QR codes in the manual if your device is dropping characters. So yeah, with the lack of a screen or any nav buttons, making sure you keep the manual with the device is essential. Heck there's even a QR code for disabling QR.One thing I will say is that the description above only mentions 2 scanning modes - manual and continuous, but there really is a third auto-sensing mode. So the graphic is correct. Of course, the only way to access the modes is....you guessed it, to scan the appropriate code in the manual, and they ALL work according to my tests, inputting the data according to the output mode you originally set.So yeah, despite the rather mediocre build quality out of the box, this little thing works great! Very simple design, and as long as you keep the manual handy, very easy to navigate the features. Feels like playing an FPS sometimes. Definitely gets the thumbs up from me.

Just added some barcoding onto our inspection sheets at work. These work really well for inputting the data into our custom software program. Only complaint is the "angry" beep when the unit shuts itself off after a time out period. Scares the bejesus out of me everytime.Usually only takes one time to scan, very accurate. No problems.
