They didn’t have the exact length I needed, so I simply shortened it. Pushing out the pieces I needed to create the storage that I wanted was quick & easy. The case I bought came with 3 spongy foam layers, and the lid has permanent foam. My 2 boom mics fit in one layer of this item, but I bought a second layer, so I can keep push out space to store the headphones & cables all in one case.
