My 10 year old daughter LOVES to draw. She told me she wanted these pastels to make her drawings more colorful. She has been drawing since she was 6 years old. This makes her drawing stand out more now and is very colorful. Can’t wait to see what else she comes up with :)I posted the pumpkin that she drew today immediately after receiving them. i was very impressed with the variety of colors. I went to use them a couple days later and I was disappointed in the application. Some colors layered well and some didn’t. I felt that the cool colors did not layer well. And all colors made small balls. I have used oil pastels and I know they make the little balls when layering. However, these look like eraser shavings. Get what you get…cheap price, cheap materials.

I have a 13 year old granddaughter does portraits and amazing scenery of the Puget Sound. She was so excited to have a new art form. She usually uses colored pencils or water colors. She was thrilled. I haven’t seen the results but her mom said she is hard at work this new art form!
