My controllers now look great! I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. The quality of the parts seem just as good as Sony's. The installation was easy, with the help of their videos. It was time consuming, but went faster after I got familiar with the first one. I will try to remember to post an update after six months to comment on how they hold up.

I bought all my parts from extremerate and the outcome came out really nice buying all the parts gave me extra parts to build another controller. The only thing I was worried about was removing the touch pad and putting it in joker pad. Just take your time when you’re disassembling your controller. Other than that everything works great and it looks cool as well.

The controller shell is easy to swap but the touchpad will require a deeper breakdown including using a blow dryer to melt glue, then break a circuit board off the back side of the old touchpad.I also installed a back button kit at the same time. It's a little tricky to juggle different installation instructions especially because you will only want to open the controller once.Including a button swap this took a whole day of troubleshooting. Be prepared to open and close up the controller many times. Make sure you fully test the controller before putting the final screw back in.You can do it!

This adds such a cool look to my controller and I can’t stress enough how original it looks compared to other controllers. A little tough to install but that’s a part of the fun

The controller looks awesome and yes it can be abit challenging to do but well worth it at the end. It is 4 star for me due to the fact I bought it more for the glow in the dark aspect but it doesn't at all which was disappointing.

Really good quality, well made and fits perfectly in the controller. Instruction video made installation easy, just follow the steps and you'll get it done.Trickyest part was using the heat gun (not included) to separate the touch pad, but slow and steady does it, and the final product makes it worth it. I think it looks great!I'll definitely be buying more!

I was scared. I just knew I was going to tear up my controller beyond repair. I have a little experience with electronics but I was scared of the 6 ish ribbon cables and mics inside the controller. However, I found 2 videos on the website provided in the package and several more on YouTube to help ease me through it. It wasn't especially difficult but it is rather tedious. It took me probably 1-1.5 hours because I was being as careful as possible. Came out beautifully and all my friends are jealous. Controller kept full functionality, it's just prettier now.

First off, I’d like to say that this faceplate looks and feels amazing, it has no defects or damage either. I appreciate that they have a tutorial guide on their YouTube channel. However with that being said, the most tedious portion of the install is the touch pad. It took me about an hour to complete. I don’t think I would do it again but 100% worth the money.

The quality of the shell is out standing. It fells premium without the high premium price. The new shell makes the controller look great. The only reason why I did not change the Touch pad/Touch pad button shell is because I do not have a heat gun. I plan on borrowing/buying one and change it later.NOTE: If this is your first shell replacement, I suggest watching the video before purchasing the shell to make sure you are comfortable doing the switch. Without the video there is no way I would have been able to install the new shell.Edit: added another picture of all the parts changed.

This is a nice casing for the dualsense. Easy to install and looks great. This version has a few glow-in-the-dark parts but they don’t easily glow for some reason. The finish is a smooth plastic so it’s nice imo. I didn’t install the touchpad as it introduces friction when you move your finger on the surface, so I kept the original in place.
