I’ve been taking apart my controller for years now and as usual eXtremeRate has made high quality button replacements that look great and feel satisfying to use. Only problem I need to mention was the installation YouTube video, watch it on mute or you’ll go crazy, and also there was an update that isn’t included in the original video, just make a new video. I’ll probably buy them again when I want a new look for my controller.

You have to make sure to press them firmly, there is a fix on YouTube but I'd have to take the controller apart again. As for the tutorial it's not that great but there are plenty of YouTube videos out there that show how to take a controller apart and replace buttons. I would also recommend watching a couple before buying as it can be a little daunting on your first time taking a controller apart, especially an elite.

The product looks so much better and more durable in the pictures than it did when received. They look okay, just not as fantastic-looking as I had expected. The real problem started when I watched the 20+ minute video on how to install them. You literally have to tear your controller nearly completely apart to get to where the buttons are supposed to go. This would void your warranty (if you have one) possibly damage the outward appearance of your controller, and- there are many comments stating "I watched the video, followed it step by step, and now my controller doesn't work"- so many, in fact, that it completely deterred me from even attempting to install them but instead return them and request a refund. This is my first wireless controller, it was expen$ive, and I do not even want to risk it if there is the slightest chance of damaging it or causing it to stop working. Considering that you have to remove some VERY delicate components, and some tabs were neither mentioned nor shown in the video, I would say this product should be re-labled as requiring expert-level knowledge of electronics rather than "medium difficulty".

Replacing the smaller buttons you need to disassemble the controller, however we did not want to change the stock buttons for now just triggers. They look great and are of good quality so far they fit well just like oem. Would recommend someone with some knowledge to install if you do not know how.

Letter buttons dont stick out as much and feel loose.Wireless button doesnt press very well.Leaves a gap on one of the triggers so crumbs falls down.They look nice but not practical.Was installed by professional and he told me they were rubbish.

Love that the kit came with the tools required to open the controller and replace the parts. The only thing I'd recommend is getting a triangle prying tool to help open the controller. Pretty easy to replace the parts inside the controller and looks amazing.

Pretty good quality. The LB/RB bumper piece has some sticking issues and the sync button would stick preventing the controller from exiting pairing mode.
