The plow is great, feels solid and made well. Some of the bolts in the hardware kit did not match what was listed in the assembly instruction manual, and vice versa the instructions didn't match what was actually in the bags, with a little patience you can figure out where they're supposed to go but it was a bit of a hassle and took longer than it should have.

The instructions are not clear and it took time to figure out how to properly install the plow and the bolt quality is not the best but overall it looks good when it is done and buying better hardware would be a good idea.Should do a good job moving snow.

The plow shipped quickly and was delivered in one box. The assembly and installation on my Honda Foreman 400 was straight forward and took me about an hour and a half.Admittedly, I was skeptical about the plows durability and strength as the plow is made of thinner metal. However I put this plow to the test this weekend during a major winter storm and I couldn’t be happier with it.The plow curls snow when wind rowing perfectly despite is height compared to other brands and the trip mechanism works perfectly. I got a few curbs and lips covered under the snow at a considerable speed and the plow tripped as it should without any damage to the blade of face. The plow disconnects from the frame by 2 pins making it very easy to drop it. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a ATV/UTV Plow.

Came well packed with good instructions for assembly. Unit is made very well overall and performed excellent for what it is meant to do. Easy to attach to ATV. Good buy.

Bought this plow for my 2014 Arctic Cat 500 TRV. Fit perfectly.Everything arrive in one piece and on time.Took me about 1.5 hours to assemble the blade and the instructions are pretty straight forward.Took me another 15 minutes to connect the mount to the Quad. Again pretty straight forward as it only mounts one way.Received it in the fall but I tried it out by leveling some ground that included grass, sand.dirt and rocks and it held up great. With winter here now plowing snow is no problem for this blade as it pushes more than enough without flexing .Hooking up to the mount is quite easy if you use you winch to help you along.I see there was a person saying that he tried dozens of time to line the holes up along with some swearing and I do agree that it would be troublesome without using the winch.I pull up to the blade and get it somewhat centered. Doesn't have to be perfect as the winch does most of the work afterwards.Drive over it till its close to being inline with the mount.Hook the winch hook to the back center hole. Could be different for other quads but this one works best for me.Raise the blade till it starts to teeter than while standing at the front of the blade I'll slide it into the mount and walk over to the sides of the quad and insert the pins.Works great for me. First try every time.I would recommend this blade and they do go on sale for a good price in the fall

I'd give it 4.5 starts. But that's impossible. So I rounded up. Start to finish. It took us 5 hours to assemble. Put the mount of the atv, (2001 Honda Foreman 450) and then bolt the plow up to the mount. A few things that peeved me were. 1. I found the directions to be on the poor side. Items were misnamed and not clearly marked. That slowed us down a lot. 2. At least on this bike. If you are looking for an easy quick release plowing system. Look elsewhere. This plow will likely be staying on the rest of the winter as it is one "female dog" to line up and get those pins in due to the location of the mount. There was a lot of swearing. But. It went it after dozens of attempts. Overall. Everything seems to be made well. And the initial test with some snow was positive. I will be keeping an eye on the mount etc as the winter rolls along and we push more and more snow to make sure it does not loosen or bend. I would prefer a front mounting quick release but unfortunately that isn't available for my atv. Would I buy it again. Yes. Because it's $200 cheaper than a Warn system. Would I pay more than $500 shipped taxes in? No. Another plus. Everything was well packaged and and sealed up. Word of advice. Don't loose any nuts or bolts as there are ZERO extra.

The plow is great and very sturdy and durable. It worked like a charm! It did take me about 5 hours over 2 day period to build and install it. While the plow itself is not that hard to build, the instructions were not extrodinarily descriptive and had a few small errors in them. Just watch all your bolts, other than the mount you have no extra bolts or washers at all so do not lose one. Also be sure you get a winch. I failed to read you needed one so after building it had to order a winch. Overall though works great, very sturdy and saved good money. Be calm and patient during the build once it is done you will be proud and happy. As said, if you are not at least somewhat "build" savy you may want to have a friend or neighbor help you. I know somewhat about building these things and have a BS degree but at times I had to walk away and breath a bit and come back later. You have to be able to analzye the picture and then know how to put it together as the instructions are decent but not the best. A couple times they have the wrong screw size mentioned but you can figure it out. Be patient and you will be very happy!!

Lets start out by saying I picked one of the worst winters to buy this bad boy, we had 3 storms that dropped more then a foot here in PA and countless other 3 inchers or more. I bought this before a storm in an attempt to make life a little easier then lugging a snow blower up and down the driveway for hours. I really bought to take care of the nuisance storms that put 4 or less inches down and were a real pain to use the snow blower in, since it took just as long to snow blow as to push a shovel around. This thing handled those and even took over 8 inches down during an overnighter. Now this will have trouble with anything more then that, so try to not let the storms get ahead of you, or you will be in a pickle. I also used this at a neighbors house who had a longer flat drive and when you pick up speed this thing could throw some snow, just set the blade angle and go.As far a the fitment to the ATV, this is where I was truly amazed. I used this on a small Bayou 220, and even though the frame was not big it still bolted right up. This is where they really thought this plow through, the mounting bracket has room to move the bolts to where the frame is, and comes with either U bolts for round frames or steel plates to sandwich the plate and bracket to the frame with bolts. once I got the brackets bolted with the U bolts and tightened it was not going anywhere. And because it has the quick release pins, taking the plow on and off is a snap, literally 2 minutes and you could change it. It is even easier if you have a winch to pull the plow up so it just hangs in place and you can just slide the pins in and you are off and running. After one really good season of use I would say this is the best universal plow you can probably get, especially on amazon with free 2 day shipping if your a prime member. As far as any wear and tear, the plow frame, angle adjust, and blade springs are all still in great shape and not showing any wear. The plow feet and wear bar did take a hit this season though, the feet wore out and broke apart, and I had to flip the wear bar. Both these things are supposed to wear on a plow though so it is no big deal, especially with how much I used it this winter. The feet we just welded a steel pieces as new feet, and I'm hoping they sell new wear bars, but if they don't all it is, is a 1/4 inch steel bar with bolt holes in it, I'll just fabricate a new one. If your on the fence I would have no issue backing this product in not only quality, but ingenuity.

I bought this plow for a 1990 Honda TRX300FW ATV. Since my ATV wasn't listed on their compatibility chart, I contacted Extreme Max customer support via their web site to inquire about compatibility. Their response was prompt and included a paper template that could be printed out and used to determine if the mounting hardware would work with my ATV. After using the template, I was reasonably confident that the plow would work, or at the most require minimal customization.I installed the plow in my brothers garage with my brother and a couple of other guys and I can say that everyones first impression upon un-boxing was that this is a pretty heavy duty set-up. We all work in the steel fabrication industry in some form or another and we were all impressed with the quality of materials used.Assembly was straight forward with a well written set of instructions and illustrations. I couldn't ask for a better set of installation / assembly instructions. After laying out the parts, the plow was assembled in about an hour. I worked on the push tube assembly while my buddy worked on the blade assembly and then we attached the two.Fitting the mounting plate to the ATV seemed like the most time consuming part only because I had to locate and drill (2) holes and cut (2) notches in the skid plate for the U-bolts to pass through. I could have un-bolted and removed the skid plate, and assembling would have taken about 5 minutes, but instead we spent about a half hour on attaching the mounting plate to the bottom of the ATV. We stood the ATV up on its rear end much like one of the photos above to make it more accessible and easier to work on. The mounting plate attaches only about 6" in front of where a true "mid-mount" plow setup would attach, and it still uses the horizontal frame rails so there is much less risk of bending anything during plowing than there is if you're using a front mount setup.Attachment of the plow unit to the mount really couldn't be easier. Line up the holes, slide in (2) pins, and clip your winch hook to the attachment point and your done. Literally takes under a minute to attach and detach the plow.Honestly, based on the prices of other plow systems were you have to buy the mount, the push tubes, and the blade separately, I can't believe that this Uni-Plow system is not priced higher. I kinda feel like I'm lucky that I bought now before they realize that they're way under-charging for this unit.I highly recommend this plow setup, especially for the '88-'92 Honda TRX300 owners out there who can't find a direct fit plow system for their ATV's. This Uni-Plow system is, for all intents and purposes, a direct fit.
