We have been looking for something loud enough due to my husband is hard of hearing. It's perfect! He hears it outside too. I'm handicap and if I'm in the back room he can't hear me.Best thing I ordered so my husband can help me. I ring the bell.

There is a slight dent on one side. This does not affect its usefulness, but it sure would be nice if they would package things better.The tone is nice and it's quite loud. It seems to be well made. The loop inside the bell (to which the clapper is secured) goes through the wooden handle and threads into a brass nut on top of the handle, so I think it will be durable. A loop which merely screws into the wood of the handle would likely not hold up well.

It's certainly a loud bell. The handle is crooked. I should probably request an exchange. I'd recommend it if it wasn't crooked. It would be a 5 star.

This bell is so perfect for me! It's loud, kinda small but fits perfect in a female's hands. I'm so glad I found this because it's just what I need to run the critters off {demon spirits that try to harass me at night}. But, I got this!!!!

I was looking for a bell that would be loud enough for my daughter to hear while competing in her events in track and field. This bell was was perfect and extremely loud! Let’s just say I was the most annoying parent at the track meet but my daughter enjoyed it and it motivated her even more during competition!!

Received the item today. Try a little bit. Sounds loud enough. It is heavy too. It looks very heavy duty. I like it. On Christmas Eve, we ring it for 2 minutes in front door with neighbors together.
