My favorite feature is the the large loops for your fingers. That's why I bought these, for the most part, and why I'm very happy. As I hoped, you can get your fingers in these with no problem.The second-best feature is that they're a solid utensil, nice and sturdy and durable.I personally like the length. I can turn over some fish sticks in the oven without taking the pan out (especially with the angled head on the one pair of tongs). I can easily dip them into a pot of water without fear of getting my hand too close. They're not gigantic, over-sized tongs, but they're not little guys.I had bought other pairs recently, and was completely dissatisfied with how cheap they were, and the fact that I could barely get my fingers into the loops. That's why this purchase is an easy 5 stars for me.

These tongs replaced my set of two that had been rusting. They are sturdy and easy to use. They wash easy and look good in my utensil holder on my counter.

This is well made and will pick up different items off the floor better than a gripper I bought. I use it to pick up the newspaper in the yard since I walk with a cane. I have picked up a supplement capsule I dropped on the floor, as well as a one-pound can of vegetables that fell out of my cabinet. I keep it in my walker which I use inside my house. The extra-long handle is perfect for what I need. I have a smaller set of tongs I use for cooking.

I bought several different types of serving tongs. I couldn't use these particular ones because the grips were too narrow. I have a 9.5 or Large size hands and usually wear some kind of thin gloves to use tongs. As far as rating 'sturdiness' I didn't rate it because all these tongs that are 'Chinese made' last maybe 2 to 3 years for me before the ribbit rusts and breaks off.

These are much thicker than I expected and as a result are somewhat heavier that I expected, but they are sturdy and do the job.

These tongs have had little use yet but the most obvious thing is the weight and heavy wire used to make them. They should last . Better than expected. Arrived very quickly.

The significant other is trying to find tongs similar to those she has had in the past. Apparently, those older tongs are no longer made. So, she has been buying an array of tongs to try to find some she likes. The metal of these is all stainless with plastic covered handles. The handle openings are large for larger hands. The tongs are angled rather than straight to be able to reach into a pan while keeping hands at a lower level to avoiding steam and popping grease. Of course everything is dishwasher safe.The price of these is low enough that we assess their value as being about average.Our overall rating is five stars. We wish we could buy these in a bit longer size, but 11 inches will have to do since that seems like the common length these days. Otherwise, these tongs are functional, can be held by the tiny significant other and me, and they are affordable.Enjoy!
