I finally got a chance to use this repotting mat. It's easy to snap together and works great.

I ordered a cheaper, smaller one of these from a different company here on Amazon. It was missing a corner snap. So ordered this one, and all corner snaps are in place. It’s bigger, and much sturdier. One thing I’ll say is, the corner snap idea seems like a not-so-smart solution to creating corners. Like, how about using a wire imbedded inside the corners…just a thought!

Very convenient for working on my plants and keeping the mess contained during repotting. Folds well so pouring excess soil into a plant pot is easy.

This soil tray holds soil well and is small enough to fit on basic tabletops. My only real disappointment with this is that it’s too lightweight. Where the tray buttons up in the corners are too light and don’t stay upright, so it’s been easier to keep the tray totally flat. Not a big deal and it doesn’t change the effectiveness, but I personally liked the idea of having the walls up.

I was always doing gardening stuff on a cart and it was always messy. With the texture it never gets clean but I decided to tidy things up a bit with this. I do feel like I'm being neater and can reuse some of the fallen dirt more often. Not sure if it really makes that big of a difference over time unless I make some massive spills but oh well. Makes me feel better about myself.

I actually purchased this to put underneath my Pitties food & water bowl. He makes a mess drinking water & eating his food. I've tried with the silicone, rubber, area carpets that claim to soak up water, & they were al a hot mess! I have some of these to do my repotting plants on and after you're all done just rinse it & you're good go again, so with that in mind both my Pittie & I will be happy, he gets to continue making his little mess & I get to just hose it off.

I am only in the early stages of using this repotting mat, but I already love it and see real benefits to having it, both inside my home and outside when I am repotting plants. We have big potted plants in our living room, and they need to have dead leaves removed from time to time. Placing this mat under the first of my plants was such a time-saver, and I didn’t have to worry about the dead leaves and flowers falling in pieces on the floor while thinning them out. What normally takes me five minutes for one plant, today took me two minutes. You may not think that is significant, but along with the five minutes also came moments of frustration determining how to handle the dead, dry leaves once they were cut. Now, multiply that by four plants. I don’t know about you, but I have better ways to spend my time than doing this.We are in the process of obtaining starter plants for our garden, which will need to be repotted or thinned out, in some cases. This mat is the perfect fabric and size to handle one plant at a time, especially with the corners that fold up and snap together. I know that when I’m done, there won’t be a big, dirty mess to clean up. All I have to do is to take it to the garbage and dump it out, then brush it off. Anything that makes my job a little easier is a big deal to me. This repotting mat is already making my job easier, and I highly recommend it!

I grow a lot of plants indoors and out and throughout the year I find myself repotting all types of plants for myself and my friends and neighbors. I do this in my garage, but previously it's always been a challenge keeping things neat and tidy throughout the process on matter where I do it.I've tried using flat cardboard tray boxes, such as those that manufacturers use to ship products. That solution isn't very good because soil and debris will still collect on the sides. This mat solves that problem completely. It's actually a very ingenious idea. You simply lay it flat and snap the buttons on the corners closed to create a tray. The tray is large enough to give you room to work. When I'm finished I collect as much soil that's on the mat as possible and scoop it back in the bag then just shake it out outside to get rid of any remaining dust. When unsnapped it easily folds back up for storage.I have another similar product that's made of plastic; that one is OK, but the materials and construction with this one are both superior. The material is polyester and similar to what's used for tents: It's very sturdy--there's no chance of tearing it. The snaps are brass and very heavy duty.Don't know why succulents are mentioned in the description: This is very useful when repotting any kind of plant.Well-made product: Highly recommended.
