We were initially hesitant to switch from the recommended brand to this one, as we always prefer to stick to the manufacturer's suggestions. However, after using it for several months, we’re happy to say that there’s no significant difference between this filter and the branded one. It works just as effectively, providing the same level of performance for our humidifier. We've been using filtered water and making sure to keep the tank clean, which has undoubtedly helped in maintaining its efficiency. Overall, this filter is a great alternative, delivering similar results at a more affordable price point.

Like another commenter said, you get wht u pay for. Not quite like the original that vicks uses. But I'm asumming it's doing the job done on my vicks cool mist humidifier. Like another commenter mentioned, for mine as well, it didn't quite fit in the tray perfectly, it was a little big. Just be careful in handling as I could see people accidentally ripping the filter. I made it damp first then carefully placed it into the tray. I'm hoping it's actually working on my humidifier? Can't really tell... But so far no issues.. so that's food enough for me!
