I have a 2024 Macbook Air with M3 chip and it works perfectly!!! I was so frustrated that things i owned on DVD aren’t available on any of the 4 streaming services i am subscribed to. I no longer own a dvd player so i had no way to watch them and now i can rewatch all my old favorites in perfect quality from the comfort of my bed!!! 10/10 highly recommended! i plugged it in and it immediately popped up and was able to play!

I absolutely love this so much. I plug it into my MacBook Air and I can put my cds on my laptop and watch movies as well. I also have to add that I love when you aren’t using it you can unplug it and put the cord right back on the bottom. It is a great feature. It’s simple and small. Good to use if you have dvds and cds you wanna watch and listen to. Great for trips as well. I love how compact and light it is. It does what it needs to do and I have no worries.

This product was working great and super smooth. Of course it was only 20 bucks so what can you expect? I was only looking to export images off of 3 Walgreens CDs and put them onto my iMac. It stopped working after the 2nd I ordered another just to get the job done, but I did contact support looking for a refund for the faulty one.

I purchased this drive twice. The first time, it stopped working almost immediately. The second time, it worked for a couple months and stopped working. I tired the usual methods for connecting this drive to my MacBook Pro and none worked. The drive is simply kaput! Warning: do not buy. A waste of money. If I could give it no stars I would.UPDATE 1/14/2025: This seller contacted me and offered a refund. I have waited a couple months. I accepted their offer but they did not follow-through and provide me with a refund. They ignored my reply accepting their offer. Purchase a drive from another seller. Hcsunfly is not to be trusted. I also reported them to Amazon who responded they would get back to me.UPDATE: 2/6/2025: Seller did not respond to additional email. Amazon said they would get back to me but did not. Amazon is slipping!

I have a MacBook Pro. From 2016. My second one. My first one was 2006. I used that for 10 years till my OS was obsolete. I’d been using the same CD player to upload all the CDs to my iTunes all this time. It finally took a crap on me. So what did I do, why I ordered a brand new one on Amazon and it arrived quick and worked perfect! So I’m super happy with my new CD player and Amazon ROCKS!

I have a MacBook Pro and wanted to upload a CD into my Apple Music library. The music was from a gospel group from the 1980s, so their music was not available in MP3 format (only CD). I read a few reviews that were positive, so I decided to invest the $20. It was quite literally plug-in go. I inserted my CD and within five minutes every song was copied to my library. That was the sole purpose of buying this disc drive, so I don’t have anything else to share outside of that. This is great and affordable disc drive for burning music. 5/5 stars!

Just plug N play worked perfectly for me,was able to view all my photo's and watch a DVD..I added a longer usb connection,as found the 1 with it was to short.(But that was just me) Very happy with mine
