They are made of high quality of transparent polycarbonate plastics, with a much longer life than acrylic plates. Each of the two plates measures 14 5/8 inches ( or 37.15 cm) in length, which makes it perfect for using slimline dies or embossing folders on your die cutting machine. I had to buy a deburring tool to round the edges because they were so sharp they cut my fingers. Other than the sharpness they are great.

I have multiple XL cutting dies and don’t always want to pull out my bigger die cutting machine. These extended plates allow me to use my regular big shot for my longer dies that don’t fit the standard size plates that come with the machine. Definitely recommend if you have or intend to invest in XL cutting dies.

I broke an expensive die on my 4th pass with it. Once again another product with no directions. I should have asked my paper crafting friends how to use it first. I don't know why it worked the first 4 times but I'm scared to use them again until I have some clear directions. 😔
