The bracket is more robust than it seems in the pics. The biggest issue is gittin it aroun' that stupid sensor in the head on captain's side. I ended up bustin the clip off the sensor plug to git it to fit through the bracket. Be sure to really unscrew the hold-down bolt before you tighten everyding up. That dadgum hold-down bolt comes screwed pretty far down on arrival. It quieted down the exhaust leak on muh goin da town rig.

The part was manufacture. Perfectly hardware is all included is a good quality part that its job perfectly. After installing this part, the noise on the manifold exhaust leak, stopped and fixed the problem with the broken bolts the price of the part was a good price compared to going to a mechanic shop to remove the broken stud and reinstall a new one would’ve been expensive specially how the bolt broke

If there was an option for zero stars I would select it. Doesn’t fit rear passenger side of the engine, gap to go over exhaust manifold not big enough on the clamp so therefore bolt holes are 1” from lining up to place bolts.

This product works to replace a broken exhaust bolt at the very back of the driver side of a 6l GM engine. It is not easy to install because of the position. It took me about an hour to get the two bolts installed into the back of the engine block. After tightening the special bolt down, it worked fine to stop the startup ticking noise from that cylinder.

It is very tough to get it bolted to the back of the head. The bottom hole was easier but the top one I had to use a Magnet to put the bolt in and then fingertips and cussing to get the bolt to start. But the end results are no more exhaust leak on start up. 2001 Chevrolet HD 2500.

I was super happy when I found this as another stud popped off it will get me out of a pinch until I can replace again. Took about 30 mins to install! Well worth it.

Driver side rear is a pain to install but she’ll bolt up. Gotta come in from the top and have some finger strength haha. That driver rear will bolt up properly just don’t give up. I broke all 4 of my outside bolts on my manifold and installed 4 of these bad boys. Bolts up great, does the job. 5 starts for the money

Fixed the exhaust leaking on both sides hard to take picture of drivers side just took picture of passengers side. Nicely made parts heavy duty and good hardware.

Got it to repair Broken rest stud. It’s a pain to get yours hands in to do it but the part is great and worked like a charm. Fixed my problem and all clicking noise went away. Great price a lot cheaper than Dorman and good build quality. Note to future installers. Remove heat shield and if you have 4 wheel drive it really helps to remove the front drive shaft and set it to the side not fully removing it from the transfer case. I installed it from below. It does help to have someone up top to help hold stuff while working in the tight space.

2015 Express 3500 6.0l with about 40k miles on it. I heard a slight exhaust tick and looked when doing the last oil change. Sure enough the driver side rear bolt was missing it's head.At some point I think I'll pull the manifolds off, extract the stud somehow (likely have to weld a nut to it because it looks flush with the head), and replace everything. For now I decided I'll just throw a clamp on it to keep it from getting any worse.Quality looked ok. Fit was ok. A ground wire was attached to the head there. I installed the bracket with some copper anti-seize on the bolts and moved the ground wire to outside of the bracket. I put some red loctite on the bolt that pushes against the manifold. No more tick (that I don't think my wife could hear or notice but it botherd me). While I was in there I noticed a very weathered vacuum hose. The 7/32" hose that goes from the top of the intake manifold to the passenger side of the engine bay behind the AC receiver/drier. Needed 2ft but the first AutoZone was out so had to drive to another. The exhaust fix was very easy. It was harder to take the doghouse off than put the bracket on. The vacuum hose was simple even though under the hood side could only be done by feel because you can't see it. Simple project turned into a couple of hours from letting my son do some of the work and delay getting the vacuum hose.

They don't fit my 2017 Silverado Z71 5.3L, there's a hole for sensor but I don't have that sensor. Bolt holes do not line up.
