I received mine yesterday. It came in a package that was completely trashed. I am not sure that the thermometer is even new. It looks like it had previously been opened and then repackaged.

It's way more accutate than most. I still will double check with under armpit thermometers but it's easy to use to tell if there is a fever

So tired of the inaccurate infrared no touch thermal thermometers that give different results every time. This one checks 1000 times a second and derives the real temp that seem consistent and accurate.

Accuracy - I've tried this 10 times in a row and got 7 different readings, with the lowest reading being just 95.0 degrees! Results: 95.0 (twice), 96.0, 96.1, 96.5, 97.0 (twice), 97.1, 98.0 (twice). I guess you're supposed to try it a bunch of times and settle on the highest one?Easy to use - while it is easy to use (pushing the button and holding it down while using), this runs on a 9 volt battery (included), however it is physically impossible to remove the battery cover (even while using a pocket knife to try to pry it open).Value for your money - when you advertise "The #1 Thermometer in Proven Accuracy" and yet you get consistently different readings (in a row), then what's the point of keeping it? This will definitely be returned.
