Glad I chose this stage 1 organic clutch over OEM replacement. As other reviews say it is noticeable stiffer than the soft clutch - and it's a major upgrade. Not too stiff to make it anymore work, but stiffer to make driving easier and more enjoyable - not to mention these clutches are good up to 250hp as well.Installed in 1999 Honda Civic EX Coupe EJ8. Perfect fit - went on easily. First clutch I did by myself, and while time consuming - was not necessarily hard. Biggest suggestion would be to purchase a high torque impact wrench. It makes light work of this type of a job.

Installed/zero issues/ clutch pedal feel is about 25% more firm over OEM clutch / clutch grabs with zero chatter.

Great feel for that just above stock performance. Clutch engagement and disengagement is great with no issues under and off load.

Great clutch set. Well worth the money. The pressure plate does make for a stiffer pedal feel but that's ok to me. If you prefer the soft lightweight Honda OEM clutch pedal feel then this will be an inconvenience to you and you would be better off sticking with an OEM pressure plate. This grabs real low off the floor and grips very well. It's listed as a 'racing clutch' but it's perfect for my commutes up hilly highways and back roads.

I just installed this on an '05 Civic EX Coupe alongside the Exedy HF501 lightweight flywheel and an MFactory limited slip diff, and I'm loving it!!The clutch pedal is noticeably stiffer than my old clutch (an Exedy KHC08 OEM replacement clutch kit), but it's not unbearable. This clutch grabs right away when taking off, which I like. The only thing to be aware of is that the quicker grab coupled with the lightweight flywheel, it's a touch easier to kill the engine (I did a couple times while getting used to it, especially in stop & go traffic).The install went very easily; I used the large hex harmonic balancer holder on the other end of the engine to keep the crankshaft from turning while torquing down the flywheel and pressure plate bolts. It also helped that I did it with the engine/transmission out of the car, though in the car isn't too bad (just a little harder to lift/align the transmission). Honda sells a flywheel holder tool (and tells you to use it for this job in the service manual), but since I already have the harmonic balancer holder I've always just used that and it's worked fine.

Now that it is installed it seems to grip the transmission rather well. I unfortunately had to carefully smooth out a bur that was on the clutch disk where it needed to be forced onto the clutch alignment tool until I worked the bur out of the metal. This should never happen with a mid to high end clutch kit.

Basically love it but was scared at first when outa no where it stopped working when I was testing it. If yours ever stops check your axels apparently mine popped out lol haha but the clutch is awesome took me a bit to get used to it.
