I love this sm. It’s super cozy but is not thick!! If you want something thick don’t get this, it’s the perfect size for a king bed, it dries fast, it is super strong material and the colour is just beautiful. I got this about 6 months ago and the colour hasent faded yet!

I purchased this bedspread because I did not want to use a bed skirt and, based on the photos, thought this was perfect. My mistake! I did not measure the bed.I do not have diagnosable OCD but I like things centered, straight, and even. Standard twin sheets fit this bed perfectly but when I adjusted the comforter so that the overhang at the bottom was about the same as the sides, I ran short at the head.Pros: It washed well and dried quickly on a low setting. The weight is great for multi-seasons. It seems to be well made and I expect it to be durable. The pattern is even and unflawed. It's easy to throw off in the night but does not seem to trap body heat in the way some fabrics do that causes sweating in some people.Possible con: The fake stitching is very shiny in some light, as seen in someone else's review. That may bother some people.Overall, I think it's a great product but measure first if the overhang matters to you.

I loved the colour of this quilt! It’s a beautiful purple and uplifted my bedroom. It’s light as well. The material is OK for the price. It’s not the greatest quality and there were a few threads hanging when opened it but it’s definitely worth it. I’d recommend it.

I wanted to LOVE this quilt comforter so badly, and technically I do, for the most part.I’m a hot sleeper, and even comforters that state they’re for hot sleepers make me sweat, but I can’t sleep without some sort of blanket because I like being covered up.The quilt is thicker than a bed sheet, but thinner than let’s say a bath towel. You can feel some air flow with a fan on, but not enough that it negates the purpose of having a blanket in the first place. If anything, I grab a throw blanket if I need a bit of an extra layer, and it’s been perfect. Except, I’ve noticed the stitching is coming undone and the pilling is becoming worse, now both can be seen at first glance.I don’t really sit specifically in the places the stitching came undone, and I’ve followed cleaning instructions, even using wool dryer balls. I purchased in late august of 2021, and this is the look as of just about a year of use.I’m torn because it’s perfect for me in terms of sleeping well, but its appearance definitely doesn’t meet the same standard. Ultimately I think it depends on what matters most to you, and the purpose of purchasing it. If it’s used as a layer, it’s probably not going to be a problem. But if it’s the main blanket, there will ~most~ likely be noticeable wear after a few months of use. Because I’ve slept so well, I’ll most likely buy another one until I can find another option. But it truly has helped with night sweats. I’m able to sleep in a room that varies from 67°-77° Without issue. I also bought the king size for my queen bed, because I like having the extra length so I can move around in my sleep and not worry about my feet sticking out or whatnot. I hope this helps someone who’s on the border like I was! (I also have a Standard Poodle who sleeps with me, but he is trained to only get on and off the bed to lay down, not play or dig into the sheets).

Paid $27.74 in June, 2021 for a "used" King Sky Blue in 'good/acceptable condition' that was supposed to have some sort of visible defect somewhere on top or sides. It came in the original packaging, did not look used at all, in fact looked brand new. It's a very thin, lightweight bedspread, similar to quality found at local job lot or Walmart type stores. Being microfiber, the fabric is beyond soft & I would have kept it except it wasn't quite the shade of blue to go with sheet sets I was trying to match. The 'quilting batting' (white filler material is thin & bonded to the top layer of fabric, so it appears to be one piece. You can see this if you look inside the pillow shams ,(sorry, thought I'd taken pics but must've forgotten.) Better quality ones will have another layer of fabric on the backside so this can't be seen, even if you turn sham inside out. The King sized shams were Very Long. There is no ACTUAL STITCHING on this bedspread/quilt except for the construction seams & attachment of the edges trim. The decorative pattern, diamond on this one, is Not stitched in, it looks to be heat fused. I saw another company refer to this as "pinsonic stitching" - I don't know exactly how it's done, but the layers are literally fused together in a stitch shape (narrow long rectangles), which compresses the layers, leaving the adjoining areas to create the little puffs or tufts of fabric to create the old fashioned stitched quilt patterns that still remain so popular, at a fraction of the cost. It looks to me, though, that this process doesn't, by nature, allow for a thick layer of batting to be used, so anytime you see a stitched like quilt/bedspread, I suggest enlarging photos until you can see if it's fused or thread. Other indicators would be fancy high tech names for the 'stitching' & cost. One plus I read about this style of fabrication is that pet claws won't have real stitches to get caught in. If you're a pet owner, like me & all the family's allowed on the bed, this could be a great reason to get one. Lower pricing doesn't hurt either!I did find another brand bedspread that matched my sheets with this kind of stitching too, so I'll find out.I can't speak to longevity or wear on this spread, but I wanted to leave a review because I was very impressed with the condition of the "used" one I chose, which brought the price down @$9. I didn't know what to expect, especially as it was only "good/acceptable," but it was Prime with free returns, so I thought why not?I had to order @10 bedspreads/quilts, comforter & duvet covers before landing on 1 that matched any of the 3 shades of blue & 1 shade of teal/aqua in my patterned sheets, so I got to see a wide variety. I tried ordering 4 at least 'used' & of those, the others were either 'like new' or 'very good,' which seems to mean only the packaging might be damaged & all but 1 didn't even have damaged packaging & looked brand new. Some are compressed so highly when shipping if you take it out of the package, you probably Won't be able to get it back in original packaging as that's what a couple appeared to be because they were vacuum sealed inside a plain plastic bag and then that was put back in or with the original package & shipped out.Only 1 came in only a plastic bag in a very cheap cardboard box that arrived split open at seams with retaping evident & even then that was rent open in a couple of places, along with more tears in the flimsy box.But that was NOT this one by Meczla. This arrived sealed in a plastic bag inside original packaging, a zippered plastic case with all the descriptive placards & thanks for your purchase customer care card, etc.My only concern would be a review here I read about the person who had a fire that claimed the bedspread went up in flames instantly & I am wondering if there has been any regulations on Microfiber bedding, sheets & spreads etc.?I know from personal experience that Dollar Tree microfiber dish towels are indeed dangerous. I had one slip off the oven door handle & fall inside the oven (no idea how that even happened!) I was checking a cake baking at 350F. Just a minute later there was an awful smell & this horrible smoke was billowing out of the oven. I found a melted mess of brown/black goo when I opened it. Nothing resembling the blue terry 'like' towel it had been!I see that many sheets & bed covers are now made from microfiber, I already had plenty in my closet before this happened & now finding out most bed coverings are too, I truly hope some regulations have been put in place to ensure the type of microfibers used are flame & heat resistant.Isn't it recommended in a fire situation to wet sheets, bedding or towels & cover yourself with them to prevent smoke inhalation & burns from the fire as you attempt to escape a burning home? I think of that melted towel & wonder if it would instead of protecting me, bond to my skin the way the layers of a bedspread are fused together? Yuck! Anyway, I don't have enough knowledge on this subject to speak with authority, but because of what I read in that review & my own experience with a microfiber towel, I thought it bore mentioning, though I repeat, I can not say anything about bad about this bedspread or any other microfiber products other than the Dollar Tree dish towel (& those didn't absorb water worth beans either so they're not good for much & have gone the way of the garbage can!)OVERALL:Meczla was one of the nicest inexpensive 'sonic stitched' bedspreads of the 1/2 dz at least I checked out in appearance, softness & construction. Though still thin, it was a little bit thicker than a couple other, (some were almost like just two sheets in thinness!), & one of the reasons I wanted to post a review about it, even though I wasn't able to keep it.The included customer appreciation card seemed to indicate they had good customer service too.As long as you know it's microfiber, not stitched in the traditional sense with real thread (an asset for four legged family) & will require a blanket underneath for cooler weather & that's what you want, it's a very nice low cost option that doesn't look super cheap, IMO.Oh, & the Sky Blue color is absolutely lovely. It's a nice light shade of blue, I'd call it more of a powder blue. It doesn't have a green or grey tone to it, more of a straight up light blue.
