Seems like a silly thing to write a review about. But I went through four of these before I found the right one. They have one on their website that has over 20,000 positive reviews. It was a piece of junk so I bought three others and this one this is very well-made all metal blade is very sharp. Tape holder is made out of metal and plastic. All the other are just plastic. highly recommend this.

We've been using tape guns daily for 30 years and these are the best we've ever used. Had them about a year now and still holding up well. Just looked these up to order 5 more, hope they get back in stock soon.

I've used this for days at work. I'm in a shipping department and I normally pack 30 to 40 packages a day. This tape gun works well. It is comfortable to hold and use. The static strip does not work. The tape will fold under and on to itself the same as a cheaper one. I am disappointed with this. I was hoping the static strip would work.

This tape dispenser is well made and the cutoff serrated blade works well. As far as manual tape dispensers for box packaging this is as good as any. That said the roll of tape it comes with is entirely useless. Overnight the tape peeled off by itself. Purchased Scotch brand tape at the same time and it works very well. I boxed over 250 cases of wine without a problem and none of them have peeled off. So terrific dispenser with bad tape but that is replaceable cheaply with good tape.

I needed to buy another tape gun and wanted something similar to what I already have, which is made by 3M. It's not industrial quality or anything, but it has worked perfectly for at least two decades. I initially bought a different brand that looked similar but when I got them I realized that the plastic paddle on the new ones does not extend and retract the blade like my old one does, so the blade is always extended and the paddle does nothing. I quickly returned those and looked for one that has this feature, which was difficult to find. That lead me to this one.Everything about this product is top notch! It is very heavy and solid and it operates perfectly and smoothly dispenses and cuts tape. It is far superior to any other tape gun I've seen and will probably last me the rest of my life.The handle is comfortable and easy to grip. The tension adjustable works well and allows the tape to be dispensed and cut easily with one hand. The applicator wheel on this one seems to keep the tape in place, like there is static cling or something. The metal guide can be opened to load tape - and it stays open until you release it! And of course, the best feature, the blade stays safely retracted until you press the paddle against a surface, at which point it extends and cuts the tape.This gun is more expensive than most here on Amazon, however, the quality and fact that it has a retractable blade make the price well worth it. It does comes with two rolls of rather crappy tape as a bonus, which was surprising given the quality of the gun, so if you have none, you will at least have something to start with. However, the included tape is very thin so I'll keep using my better-quality tape that I already have.I highly recommend this product!!!

Need’s little attention to use properly, otherwise tape will rollback and stuck. I am very happy with product sturdy easy to use.
