My nephew loves this and will be able to use it still as he gets older and bigger. It doesn’t really glow in the dark but it’s still super soft and great for kids into construction vehicles

This DOES glow, but for those of us that don’t know about glow in the dark, it needs light to activate. My husband and I shine the flashlight from our phone on it before bedtime for a few mins. (We hold it super close on one or two things to get a super bright glow.) Also, another common review was that it was scratchy and not soft. The scratchy side should be up, and the soft side is what should touch your skin. The scratchy side is what has the glow in the dark activator.

Got this for my 4 y/o grandson for Christmas. His favorite blanky was wore out and he LOVES excavators so this seemed perfect. It is SUPER soft on the main side and really soft on the other. The color is so vivid and BEAUTIFUL. The detail and quality of the trucks was above what I expected. I used the flashlight I had to shine on a small area very briefly and it had a slight glow. My flashlight is not very bright at all so I couldn’t do any better than that but given it had any glow at all just by waving my dull flashlight over it tells me it would really light up if I was better equipped. I couldn’t tell if my grandson liked it because he was so sick, he had no interest in ANY of his gifts but let me tell you, I absolutely LOVE it! It’s thicker than I expected and well stitched. I’m extremely happy with this purchase. Above what I expected!
