My daughter wears these to dance often. They are light weight and easy to move in. The blue is more on the purple side, but the pink is a baby pink. Pink is a bit sheer so you may want to wear shorts underneath. The elastic at the ankle comes in handy when she switches from hip hop to tap class.

We've had trouble with the drawstrings, they have come out on one side. Even after I spent time repairing, they just don't hold. Otherwise, the pants are great, my daughter loves them.

Runs a little longer but I sew so it was easy to adjust for length. Soft and fits well body-wise.
