Replaced my back rotors and brake pads today and wow this tool was fantastic. The last time I used the manual one, the T handle for the tool that turns the piston bent and then wouldn’t turn backwards. I ended up having to cut the tool off and it was a miserable 4-5 hr job. With this tool is as simple as it gets and wish I would’ve found that YouTube video that the person recorded using this exact tool 3 years ago!!!!!! For any buyer looking to purchase this tool, just make sure you have an air compressor with the proper attachments to fit this tool. I will be recommending this tool to all my friends. Or they can just borrow it lol.

I first saw this tool in the Cornwell catalog on sale for 279.00. It’s a lot better deal here and it’s probably coming from the same manufacturer.

This is fantastic to have in the shop! It compresses the pistons on the brake calipers with no effort at all. The only gripe I have about it is with dual pistons. You have to swap between the two pistons and can't compress them both, but you can compress on, then hold it whilst you compress the other, not a big deal. This even makes the caliper you have to SPIN back in to compress!

I've different tools to compress these parking brake pistons, this tool turns a 5 minute painful job into a quick 30 second job. Paid for itself on the first job

This is a very convenient set to have if you work in brakes everyday. It has more than enough adapters. I only use about 3 or 4 of them. It is also very cheap compared to what you would spend on a tool truck.

Great tool to have while doing brakes the only down side is on dual piston calipers you have to put a pad under it and push one side in a little then push the other side in a little at a time if you try to push just one in all the way with out a brake pad under the tool it will blow the other piston out and then you’re replacing the whole caliper so be careful on that application

I will start with the one and only Con. It comes with a non-standard air hose quick connect. Luckily I had another laying around so with a quick swap I was up and running. This unit is very easy to use. In fact, it made brake changing fun and I can't wait until my next brake job. It applied a slow constant push which was perfect. To adjust in or out, press the release button on the side. If you need more push, increase air hose pressure. I ran it at about 95 psi. Great construction, plenty of magnetic mounting adapters and a sturdy storage case. I would both recommend this to a friend and buy it again.
