Skins like the SMG or Shotgun are great for getting up close and personal while tagging players at a distance is best done with the Gold Scar or long-range Sniper. Wireless head-sensors give you hit detection from every angle and at the same time, unlock the Evolver's ability for live scoring! Using headsets lets a single player start and stop games for the group, while giving all players the ability to check scores right from their Evolvers! I purchased this for my 11 year old daughter for Christmas. I wanted something that works well outdoors so the kid could have fun outside and I've read that most of the cheaper sets don't work so well in daylight. We've only had a handful of matches but everything is working great outside in the daylight so far. I purchased the 2 gun set with the headsets and 4 skins. Learning how to use the guns had a bit of a learning curve but once we got the hang of it, it was easy. The skins were a little tricky to assemble as well and I performed that task instead of my daughter but after the first, the rest were easier. The adhesive on the skins would occasionally come undone but some crazy glue took care of that problem. Also....each gun takes 6 AA batteries and the headsets take 3. So thats 18 AA batteries for a two player game. I'm not sure how long the batteries last yet but I will definitely be investing in recharchable AA batteries soon. Overall I would say that this set is the highest quality home laser tag set on the market but requires some patience and adult supervision to get started. If the 2 guns hold up, I will definitely be purchasing more.

These are a ton of fun. Family loves them. A perfect outdoor activity we can set up in no time at all. We’ve had a lot of fun turning our yard into different crazy battlefields. This starter pack is a great jumping off point. Looking forward to seeing what skins they add in the future!
