Arrived early; This item is a good size. looks great and works great. A unique addition to my Halloween decor. Sensor works best when the room is well lit. Good volume and the snakes move!

This item has a light break sensor, the trick to use in the dark/night, is to put a light source in front of it. In my case i put a small fashlight aimed at it on the ground, i put this on a small resin column. Then set that on the other side of the path/sidewalk. So when kids come to trick or treak they much step in front of the flash light… and bingo the device goes off. The light sensor works great. But its not going to detect motion, in the dark its not going to work. But as long as you have a small lightsource in front of it. Your in business.

I actually saw this same bust at a local specialty gift shop on display and loved it. When I asked how much it was, the employee told me it wasn't for sale since it was owned by the shop and just up on display. I was disappointed, but the gal told me they purchased it on Amazon for only $30! I did a quick search, and found it and recieved it within 2 days, right in time for my Halloween party. The exterior is rubber but it looks amazingly like stone. The bust is animated, lights up and says a couple of different things. Very scary and perfect if that's what you're going for. Everyone at the party loved it.

Too bad this item came up for Vine after Halloween. I've seen these around for a few years and wanted one, but couldn't bring myself to pay the price. Even at $35, this is still overpriced for the materials. The head only has 3 sayings, so it does get very repetitive. If they added more voice prompts, this would be a great item to add to your decor. Guests will get over the novelty pretty quickly once they've heard them all and since she is loud, the voice will eventually get annoying! Good item but bad execution IMHO.
