Item is great. Replacement was easy. Just be sure to use the included oring and make sure it sits correctly before you install the new unit. This is what caused my 2012 ram 1500 gas cap light to be on. Once I reached this. It disappeared.

We have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and we received the EVAP small leak detected check engine error. Purchased this ESIM as recommended by research we did to try and rectify the issue. Cleared the code after installing this new part and it did not fix the issue. Issue came back. Processed an exchange and tried again. Check engine code still didn’t go away. Processed a smoke leak, no leak was found. Next we tried another one but this time we bought a Duralast brand at AutoZone. We noticed immediately that this one matched the one that came off the Jeep as the original compared to one bought here on Amazon. Same part numbers. The duralast esim fixed the issue, no more codes found. Wouldn’t recommend as it is not made exactly the same as the original and therefore won’t fix the issue.

Very easy to install, easy fit only 3 steps. I bought 2 different gas caps prior to purchase, neither fixed my emissions leak. Installed this item just to see if it would work, it did. Good value and quality for the money.

Ours was smashed, and kept throwing a code for emissions in our '17 Ram 1500. Replaced this and the emissions code went away. Highly recommend.

My Engine has came on, slapped on this new part and worked solid for a couple of weeks or months. Then eventually the light came on for the same problem, might need to get a different part.
