My old vacuum was alright, especially since its a budget vacuum, but this one is an absolute blessing from above 🥹I have three cats so of course I want one that does the job throughly, so I do not need to spend a stupid amount of time in each room multiple times per week. With this vacuum I only need to go through the house approximately once per week and it does so much better than the last one.I have not had any issues with the cord or hair getting tangled into the machine. There have only been a couple of strands of hair (like 5 strands of long human hair) that got caught on the metal part of the canister, but that was not an inconvenience whatsoever. The rollers have been holding up really well too. No issues with hair there.The only "downsides" are that it is a minor inconvenience to use the attachments so I can get the baseboards, but honestly if you don't have mobility issues, it's not the end of the world. Also the canister is smaller than most vacuums, but since I'm the type of person who empties it regularly it's not an issue. I think a reason why some people have issues with the hair in the canister is because they don't empty it regularly.The main reason why I bought this was because of a YouTube channel called VacuumWars. This one is in their #3 spot for corded vacuums. I didn't chose the first or second place ones is because those were significantly more expensive. I would definitely check out their channel if you're feeling nervous about making the investment.Overall, it's a great investment even if the price is a bit high.

I made the mistake of using carpet mode on my kitchen tile floor, which caused some loud noises. The adjustable filter design also makes it easy to clean under furniture like couches and beds.The accessories are a standout—they’re perfect for detailing my car and getting it spotless. Plus, the LED light on the floor nozzle is a game-changer, illuminating hidden dust in darker areas.That said, at 14 pounds, it’s notably heavier than my Dyson and takes some getting used to. Still, the Eureka’s power and versatility make it my go-to for deep-cleaning sessions, while my Dyson remains handy for quick touch-ups. Overall, this vacuum is a powerhouse and a valuable addition to my cleaning routine.

I’ve had this vacuum for 1 year and 4 months. I always wait a decent period of time before I review items.Pros: Lightweight. Cord rewind. Decent suction. Easy to clean.The vacuum is lightweight and easy to carry around by the handle on top of the canister. I have 2 yellow labs so good suction was a must. It definitely takes care of the fur on the floors and the furniture. I like the cord rewind but it feels weird that it is on the opposite side as the button used to rewind it. I LOVE how easily the canister and the parts inside come apart for a thorough cleaning, so that odors do not build up inside.Cons: Lock Mechanism broke after 1 year, one of the attachment mounts on the side of the canister broke off in the first week. The hose is too short and the attachment that comes with it is also too short. I cannot even go up a standard 8’ wall to get cobwebs out of corners. The vacuum does not “lay down” far enough to get under beds or tables.The lock mechanism that keeps the vacuum upright broke after about a year. I have no kids, it has not been handled roughly. So now if I need to use attachments I have to lay it down on the floor. The mounts for the attachments are plastic and very weak. I bumped the wall within the first week and one broke right off. The hose is definitely too short and not flexible enough. There is no hope vacuuming under beds or coffee tables, or any semi-low piece of furniture. When using the hose/attachments it falls over (even before the lock mechanism broke) because it is so lightweight.I had high hopes for this vacuum, I wish it was sturdier.
