FOR YEARS, I HAVE BEEN USING RING, BLINK AS MY SECURITY SURVELIANCE HOME CAMERAS AND HOME BASE. NOT ANYMORE. II RECENTLY BOUGH A HOME BASE AND COUPLE OF MORE CAMERAS, THE BEST I EVER BOUGH, NO MORE MONTLY FEES, NO CLOUD STORAGE, AND THE 2K, 3K, 4K. THE BEST EVER. THESE ARE SO CLEAN, GOOD. VIDEO IS SPECTACULAR. OVERALL, SUPER GOOD. WITH THE AI TRACKING, EVER BETTER. THANKS eufy.

This has worked great for me. I like that with Homebase there is no subscription fees. All my files are on the hard drive. You can look at the history from all your Eufy devices. There are plenty of devices to meet the different peoples needs.

I have this home base hooked up with the video doorbell, one additional camera and two door sensors. I have had no issues so far. The iPhone app is easy to use and allows you to monitor the camera’s right from your phone both at home and while away traveling. I would recommend this product.

After trying 3-4 other companies and not being thrilled with their cameras and ecosystem, I am VERY HAPPY with the eufy Security HomeBase S380 and linked cameras. This is our second HomeBase and camera set up. This homebase currently has 2 outdoor floodlight cameras, 2 outdoor cameras, and 4 interior cameras set up. The AI features including better car/person/animal detection is extremely useful. I LOVE the stitched together clips from multiple cameras that follow the same person. Overall, this HomeBase and all of the eufy cameras we have used have been wonderful so far.

This was super easy to setup. I am not a techy person, in fact, I am certain tech devices hate me, but this was easy for me to setup and use. I started with it on the ethernet but moved it to WiFi. It easily connects to all the devices. Upgrading the storage was so simple with a 4TB SSD I had from my son's old laptop. Formatted the SSD, with the app, it records all clips when cameras are triggered by motion and connects all the devices to one place. The siren is loud enough to hear in from the other rooms upstairs. Didn't even realize all the features it had when I ordered it. I recommend this product for home security with no monthly fees. Works with my Alexa or Siri/Apple Home. You have to pick one or the other though. You can't have both.

I like that this is part of a larger ecosystem and like that i can add other camera's to it. I found it easy to setup, but till I dug deeper I assumed it worked only on wifi, but found it can use ethernet as well. I set it up to plug into one of my mesh router nodes and find the response to be good for viewing.It integrates with Amazon alexa. Alexa announces when movement is detected in the prescribed viewing area. With the Home Base 3 it can learn faces and after some AI learning (documentation says), it now labels the video with the faces.Overall it is a very good system so far.

I should note, that I am only a week into usage after my purchase and setup/install of the cameras and Homebase. If anything collapses and my cameras assist Skynet in the takeover on August 29, 2025, then I'll update later.I ordered the S380 Homebase to accompany three Eufy S340 Solocams. Then I ordered a Samsung 870EVO 1TB SSD. Hooking up the Homebase was a simple as a) installing the app on my iPhone 15Pro Max. b) plugging the ether-net cord into my router and then into the Homebase c) plugging the Homebase into a power source and d) following the instructions in the app to gain access to the Homebase and the cameras (pushing the sync button, scanning the QR codes on the base and cameras).I cannot vouch for anyone else's experience, as I have only mine, but the walk-through on the app was straightforward and worked easily. I had no issue getting the Homebase to recognize my router and then getting the Homebase to recognize the cameras. Even after I accidentally turned off the power to it, it was nothing more than ensuring that it was plugged back in. Less than two minutes later, all cameras were communicating with the Homebase again and I could run through the menus and playbacks without a problem.Installing the extra storage drive - on the face of it - was super easy. Just unplug the base, attach the drive and slide it back into the base. The Homebase recognized my SSD right away (Use the app to check the status and whether or not it 'sees' it), and all I had to do after that was format it. Boom, I have enough storage I won't have to worry about it for an extended period.Again, I cannot speak to anyone else's issues, but my set up and experience so far has been seamless. I do wonder if firmware updates have resolved some of the issues other folks experienced. So far so good and I have no complaints at the moment. I do believe that having your router centrally located in your home will help with connectivity. Also, I noted that by simply moving the Homebase out from BEHIND a TV and instead to the left of it and thus closer to two cameras, connectivity improved immediately for one camera. Knock on wood, ALL three cameras are solidly connected.This system was a relatively easy choice for me. I had two people I trust recommend it. It was on par with or a little less than other brands with similar capabilities and features (Nest, Ring, Arlo). There is no subscription fee and with the ability to dramatically upgrade storage, you likely will never need cloud storage if you're just using it for home security (I would say a business might have different needs). Not having to pay a subscription fee will (albeit slowly) offset the cost of the system and SSD I purchased.

Great system and clarity. This covers two points of entry and the entire backyard using three eufy solo S3 cameras. Good WiFi is a must. My only gripe with the system is the speed of identification 5-8 seconds and you can’t quickly transition from the video recording to live feed so you can talk to them. Is a great value for what you spend and you can set up and forget about the system. Battery life is a non-issue with the solar recharging on the cameras. I like the fact that I can upgrade the memory on the home base unit and there’s no monthly fees which is another reason why I chose this system. Overall great security system buy but due to that lack of quick change from video recording to live feed I have this as a 4 stars but I think it should really be at a 4.5 stars.

Compre este producto para tener un almacenamiento externo de los videos de seguridad de grabación continua pues tengo varias cámaras de la misma marca, sin embargo hay 2 problemas, el primero es que pese a que la página oficial de EUFY marca que las cámaras que tengo son totalmente compatibles con esta HomeBase 3, la realidad es que no he logrado hacer que los videos se guarden en el disco duro de la base... y el otro problema (parte de lo mismo) es que he contactado a Eufy directamente para averiguar la situación, me han pedido información, videos, capturas y demás para poder comprobar la configuración y el estado tanto de la base como de las cámaras... y tras varios dias de correos me han pedido de 2 a 3 días hábiles para que los ingenieros le den un vistazo a todo lo que les envié para tratar de resolver el asunto... pero a final de cuenas a penas esta pasando el tiempo requerido y al día de hoy no he podido hacer funcionar la base como se supone funcionaría, así que de momento la dejo con esta calificación porque no cumple lo que el producto anuncia, si se resuelve entonces cambiaré la calificación, de lo contrario regresaré el producto y dejaré la calificación actual.
