I bought these to use for a classroom project. I have the students put a straw around the axle, and then they can hot glue it onto other materials to make a car. When they finish, they simply remove the straw and I can use these wheels year after year! Most of the time they roll really well.

I use these wheels and axles for my Tinkering classes for 3 to 5-year-olds. It’s an absolute gem. The wheels are light but beautifully manufactured, the rods are shiny and nice and every time that I’ve done it, I’ve not had an issue with any of the wheels or having to push the rods into the wheels. Everything fits beautifully and very easy to do . So much so that I’ve bought it multiple times for the various events that I’ve done. Absolutely love this product.

Purchased for a camp activity for kids aged 5-7 years old. All the kids said this was one of the highlights of the camp!The tires and axles were easy for little hands to assemble. We put plastic straws around the metal axles and used hot clue and tape to attach popsicle sticks to make body of the cars. Then we attached a rubber band to the end to make the cars into slingshots!The kids personalized their vehicles and used different types of material to make the cars stronger and faster. Would highly recommend for a STEM craft for kids.

Made balloon cars with these. They are a little hard to get the rod to fit inside the wheel for little hands, but we made it work. Great price. Actually the same as me making my own. Definitely recommend.

I loved how quickly these items arrived. They fit the description perfectly that was advertised. I had enough for 42 students 3 teacher to use 2 axles and 4 wheels apiece for demos/ projects with a few parts left over.The only con would be how you have to push really hard to make the metal sticks fit in the wheel, however this con really gives credit to how sturdy the materials are. Overall this is a great product for the value I paid. Hope this review helps:).

Perfect for making cars. The metal axles fit very snuggly into the wheels. They can be removed and reinserted at least 10 times without it being loose. Though many of my students tried, the axles did not bend easily( only one bent with a very zealous student). Great deal for the money. Only downside it’s the axle length is preset. And it is not easy to cut shorter.
