Works great and leaves no smears! A bit expensive but it’s definitely the best I’ve used so far. RainX, Chemical Guys, and Adam’s all leave a waxy smear. This looks like you actually washed it. Great for cold weather wipe downs or spot cleaning.

The spray pattern on the nozzle is apparently adjustable between a light, o-shaped mist (no product in the center) and an even lighter poorly directed mist. After squeezing the daylights out of it for a good thirty seconds you get enough product to do part of one door. I have used other products previously that would remove light bug and bird debris, dirt, etc, while leaving a nice glossy shine behind. This product seems to leave a semi glossy shine, but it does little to remove debris from the clear coat. I'm not certain if this is a fault in the product itself or if I'm simply not getting enough product down on the paint because of the spray nozzle.

Purchased to use as a finishing product for handwashing. Spray a little on a microfiber sponge and it gives a streak free shine! Easy to use and a little goes a long way, so you get your monies worth and protect your finish from dust and dirt. Top quality products from Ethos!

The description shows that this should come with 4 microfibre cloths, but the photo shows what was delivered. There is no options to return either.Haven’t tried the product so this review is purely on the delivery

This stuff is magic.Not a single swirl mark on my car. And I have done complete washes using just this spray and a couple of good microfiber towels. It’s not the fastest way, but it works anywhere. A bottle of this in the trunk, and you can fix any manner of road trip dust and grime issues.It’s easy to use, it leaves behind a very smooth coating, and it just might turn you into one of Those People — you know the ones. It’s great.

This product is the best Waterless wash and wax I have used to date. Previously I have used Armorall and Chemical Guys waterless wash and waxes, which are both nice in their own right, but Ethos' is just a cut above. I have a dog that loves car rides, but will drool all over the door/window. Having this product in my car allows me to touch up these hard to remove stains with ease. Just a quick one-two spritz's and a wipe down, all gone. On top of that, it leaves the area streak free, shiny, and glossy to the touch. The extra ceramic coating does wonders, can't recommend enough.

I bought this product on recommendation from Apex detailing.I'll start with the good.- item arrived fairly quick. It was sent quickly and it came in a plastic bag to ensure it wasn't going to leak.- gloss and saturation on my car is very good.- fairly easy to work with with minimal streaking.- I had an issue and contacted their support from Ethos Website and they were super helpful.Now the bad and the reasons it doesn't get a higher score.For such an expensive product, the trigger blew up on the third pull. Completely fell apart. Very very cheap quality. I have dollar store sprayers that last longer than that.However, after putting it into another bottle, the results speak for itself. Decent saturation and gloss and easy to use.Also beware, the listing says 16oz bottle. But it is for a 8oz bottle. Its a bit pricey but the product does what it says.

Easy to use, sprays on lightly. Pleasant scent - smells fruity, no chemical smell at all. Buffs easily to a high gloss, and very slippery to the touch. No powdery or other residue left behind. Made the exterior of my car look very shiny and worked wonders on the inside glass, especially the windshield. I will be initerested to see if it prevents that cloudy haze that always seems to build up on the inside of the windshield. I also found another great use for DEFY - it's the perfect cleaner/protectant for my custom saltwater fishing rods. Removed all the water spots and salt residue, and left such a glossy and slick finish that they look brand new!The only small complaint I might have is the same thing others have mentioned - the spray nozzle feels very flimsy, and could break easily. So just use a little caution when spraying vigorously. Overall, very happy with this product!

I'm giving this kit only four stars because my kit came with only three microfiber towels instead of four, and you will need AT LEAST four of these size microfiber towels to clean a small car. Seems like a pretty big oversight. But I do like this kit and think the waterless wash is great for someone like me: a city apartment dweller with covered garage parking who is broke and has absolutely no options for hand water-washing my own car besides paying an outside detailer.I just spent about 1.5 hours cleaning my Honda Fit, and it was fairly easy. Keep in mind this was my first time hand-washing a car using any method (first car I've owned), and I was very thorough (cleaning exterior and interior, including door jams and windows). I used an entire bottle of the Ethos solution on my Fit, with literally only a teaspoon or less left in the bottle. I was very generous with the spraying as I wanted to make sure the dirt was lubricated and wouldn't scratch the nice wax and buff I got a week earlier, and went over some areas twice. The Before/After pic of my hatchback window speaks for itself. The close-up pic of the post-clean shine is also proof that this waterless wash does exactly what it promises.There were some "baked on" stain spots on the roof of my car from the previous owner's neglect, which not even the detailers could get off without damaging the paint. I did try to "soften" the spots by spraying a lot of the Ethos waterless wash on top, then setting a wet microfiber on top and letting it sit for a couple minutes. Unfortunately, no miracle was performed. But that was never a claim Ethos made for this product. Just warning people that even though this product is great, it's not a magic spray that's going to fix all your dirty car problems.Overall, I'm super happy with this product, despite not getting that 4th microfiber and having to buy my own. It was super easy to use, and the results speak for themselves. Amazing on my windows, even the tinted interiors. The gray microfibers included are actually really nice, and whenever I need to reorder this product, I'll make sure to add a couple of them to my order as they really are the perfect size and thickness. I bought a larger microfiber labelled for waterless wash use, and it was just too big and unwieldy.Scent is not anything to write home about. It is faint and not overpowering at all, though, so that is a bonus.Will definitely repurchase. Just hope the company has better quality control next time!
