I needed to add another Wi-Fi router for a camera. This divided the main cable from the existing router. It works perfectly and is extremely easy to put into service.

Found this when looking for a small switch to place behind my wall mounted TV to split ethernet for TV and chromecast. Works like a charm when plugged in to the TV USB for power. Takes up a much smaller space than the others I looked at. Overall works great and well priced

Does its job well, connects 3 pieces of equipment together. Functions as a compact 3 port switch. I get 300mpbs internet thru it and reaches close to 1 gbps on cat 5e (same without the switch).Being USB powered is very convenient.

Tried this out as an attempt to split an ethernet wall connection. I have a POE switch providing power and I was hoping it would carry through on this device but it doesn't. For this to work you have to have the USB C plugged into an adapter or PC to generate the charge needed to work.So far it's been great and does exactly what it's supposed to although I do wish is didn't need the extra power. No speed loss and overall it's doing exactly what I needed (providing connection to 2 devices).

I ran out of ports on a router used for network connections to a smart TV, TiVo, FireCube, sound bar/audio system and one Ethernet cable running to an Ethernet switch for another TV, TiVo, FireCube and computer in another room. I inserted this SWITCHFLUX splitter into one router port and then plugged two Ethernet cables to the output side, one for a computer and the other to the switch in the other room (about 40 feet away), then plugged in the power adaptor for the SWITCHFLUX. After making those connections everything now had a functioning Ethernet connection. It was as easy as making the connections and I only needed a short Ethernet cord from router to SWITCHFLUX and an Ethernet cable to the computer that was previously connected via WiFi. For my computers I prefer a wired connection and use WiFi for tablets, smart phones, etc. This device appears to be very physically robust, looks great in my setup and performs very well. My present network in the house is only 256 Mbps but the fiber WAN is higher. I inserted this particular splitter because it will be useful later if I upgrade the house network to 1 Gbps service. The most difficult part of adding the splitter was finding the two needed cables and a charger for a USB-A connector to power the splitter. A 24" long USB-A to USB-C cable came with the splitter but you have to supply your own power source. Once I had those items in hand, the physical installation took just a couple of minutes and everything worked perfectly after I restarted my router. My computer is also now happier with the wired connection!

Using for a TV and a Roku and works great. Small form factor and simply plugs into a USB port on my TV for power. Would purchase a second one if needed in the future.
