I ordered this bag for a beach vacation in Mexico, but have since used it several times for pool days at home. This bag is huge!! We are a family of 4 and it easily fits all 4 of our pool towels, extra clothes, snacks, drinks, sunscreen...etc. In fact, the outside pockets are so deep we have "lost" items in there when the bag was full. I would say it is water resistant, but not waterproof. Overall, I am in love with this bag and would highly recommend it to friends and family.

So for the longest time we've been using this cheap giveaway plastic bag with handles for our beach gear. The whole thing was falling apart, and it was just time to switch. This is a GREAT replacement. First off, it's big. It holds all the kids beach toys, two snorkel sets for my wife and me, towels and a few snacks without a problem. Plus there's a small inner pocket to stash our phones/wallets/keys/etc when we get to the beach. The bag itself is very rugged and hasn't shown much wear or tear since we got it, and we tend to beat the HELL out of this thing. It stays in the trunk, is packed with hard toys, gets bumped around at the beach (and some of those beaches have a good amount of rocks) and it keeps on going. The seams are all solid and the zipper works great as well, no binding or sticking. Plus, the design on the fabric is awesome!

I got this bag to help us reduce the number of bags we take to the pool. After the first use, my wife was ecstatic! As soon as I walked in the door, she couldn't wait to express her excitement about how "Awesome" this bag was. It is huge (in a great way)! To test out sizing, we put two THICK towels into the bag and still had significant room to add more (see the image with a tape measure). We usually use much thinner microfiber towels, and by using these towels, my wife could fit everything, including her essentials, from her purse. The pockets are everywhere inside and out, the inside material feels water resistant, the back pocket is waterproof, and was incredible to add damp/wet bathing suits in without getting the rest of the bag/contents wet.The bag feels like an oversized purse, looks fashionable, is very easy to carry, and the quality of the material is just incredible. This is one of the best beach/pool/picnic bags we have ever used. We could not be more pleased with the bag!

I purchased a different version of this ESVAN beach bag 3 years ago. I love it so much that I jumped the opportunity to obtain another one. This one is 4 inches longer than my original bag and has multiple pockets circling the outside perimeter -- terrific for rolled towels, water bottles, and more. In addition, there is an outside zippered waterproof pocket plus interior zippered and mesh pockets. The teal blue interior helps prevent items from being “lost” inside a black abyss. One of my favorite features? The zippered top that prevents items from falling out sets this beach bag apart.The vibrant teal “wave” print is summery and extremely attractive. Impeccable workmanship. No loose threads. Stitching for the webbing handles is reinforced. Zippers operate smoothly. No odor.ESVAN bags are a superior value. My original “sea turtle” print bag (which still looks new) was purchased for a tropical vacation but I soon realized it was ideal for an airline “personal item”. It is robust enough to be crammed full then tucked under the seat, yet the zipper prevents items from falling out.This capacious bag shares many wonderful features of my original tote but may not be quite as well suited for a “personal item” due to the larger size and external pockets. However, it is even better designed for the beach or shopping than my original. Highly recommended.
