This bird-bath is about half the size of the one I already, which I don't understand. It doesn't even come up to my knee and will hold only a minuscule amount of water. I feel that, in the end, this is my fault for not paying attention to the listed dimensions of the product, something that I'll certainly pay attention to in the future.

Alors moi je l ai pris pour ma cage à perruches pour m en servir de baignoire génial juste ce qu il fallait je l ai mise en bas de ma grande cage comme elle est bien lourde elle ne bouge pas juste assez profonde pour faire leur toilette ils s éclatent en plus jolie elle est en fonte elle fait authentique je la conseillé pour une grande cage pas pour un jardin ou aussi pour un petit balcon

This is adorable, but check your measurements because it is extremely small. I would say maybe two feet high and the top "bath" part is larger than a saucer, but smaller than your average dinner plate. But it is very heavy and intricately designed, so I'm keeping it for garden decor.

They don't actually take a 5 minute bath, but they do wash up really nicely.. The Blue Jays Love It; The Baby Crows Love it, The Starlings, The Warblers, The Indigo Bunting Love it, I Love It, My Darling Loves It, and Even The Squirrels, Red Squirrels and Chipmunks Love it. I have it beautifully set up in a way it won't knock over by intertwining it with big branches and small twigs, in the corner of the porch, and against one of the posts.All the feed that sits around the big branches and small twigs bring everyone around that lives here and visits here. You should see how they sit on the branches, bounce a little, look around, sing something, get closer to it, get in it, and stand there thinking Paradise Is Now!!!!And that's even what I thought when it came and after I put it together, which was easy because I'm a creative wizard so when I saw the little bird attached I said,, PERFECT! AND PARADISE IS NOW!!! Luckily my darling was out right then so I was able to surprise him as well as all the birds and animals.Its heavy isn't it, but I love the design, I wish I could have made it myself, if I knew how. So now since it's far out on the porch enough for the rain to collect in it, the birds will have water before I get there in the mornings with that rainy morning dew and dawning of the Sun with all her Creatures of Love. They deserve it also because when I watch them for hours through the window, I'm in Heaven and can't feed them enough...I can always use it as a feeder for the feed of the birds while the others can eat from the floor and other feeders, never mind the whole land around, but I want them to have water because they look so plump and happy, they may need to go on a more liquid diet. I see them in the sun when the pond is empty, with their mouths open and panting and wondering where water can be. So out I go filling up the pan, and now that beautiful new bird bath drinking fountain freshen up hang out relaxation spot.Thank you Esschert Design.

This is item is a JOKE! DO NOT BUY it! It is only 13.5 tall and 8.5 wide, not disclosed in the photos, as they make it look like a FULL size normal bird bath in the photos! They don't disclose the dimensions, VERY MISLEADING! And to think I paid for a Prime Membership with Amazon, for this item, and it still didn't arrive on time! It was 4 days late in arrival, and imagine the SHOCK of myself and the gift receipient on Christmas day to get this, it was embarrassing to see this was so SMALL! It is a shame they are charging this price for this thing also! Yeah, so what it's made of "cast iron" but that is an awfully HIGH price for such a small item! My family got me for my birthday a cast iron bird bath from Tractor Supply plus for 25.00 and it is full size! This one on here is a joke and needs to have FULL disclosure of sizes! Very irritated! Feeling taken advantage of! Too Bad I couldn't rate as "ZERO" stars, but the lowest rating Amazon allows is a one star! Otherwise, they would get the Zero! My prime membership was refunded due to the delay in shipping! Buyer BEWARE! Don't do it!

I do look at reviews. I did know this was small but really, how could you expect a full-sized CAST IRON bird bath for this price? Always read the dimensions listed on the item description to prevent unhappy surprises.I actually bought this because I knew it was small. I wanted a bird feeder that was open for bird food that has big and small pieces of food for Cardinals and Blue Jays. I plan to put this out in the evening when the Cardinals hang around so I can take pics from inside the house then bring the feeder back in to prevent the food from rotting or being stolen by unwelcome guests.It is a small enough size that I can take it out and bring it in easily.------------------------UPDATE: I changed my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars because after I put it out on the lawn, it is really so small it is hard to see from 15' away. I brought it back into the house and measured it. The listing says it is something like 15 1/2" high and 9.2 inches wide. The vendor is so tricky. Those are the measurements from the top of the birds head to the floor and the tip of the birds tail to the far end of the dish. The dish that the birds are supposed to be "bathing" in is 3/4" deep! I understood it was small but REALLY! It should be listed as a miniature bird bath or bird bath replica.I stopped using this for bird food and put some water in it for the birds to drink. It certainly is too small for them to actually bath but the closest water for them to drink is pretty far away. This will hold about two cups of water.

This is a nice little bird bath. It is rather small though. Even so being cast iron it is still heavy enough to set in the yard and it looks really good. I'll have to wait and see how the birds like it though since I just got it today.Update:I have Cardnials a road runner and evan a rabbit that like the bird bath.
