It's a great little planter. Looks terrific with red geraniums and an asparagus fern hanging on our balcony.

The rectangle shape allows my plants to have a bit of room to grow. I just wish there were a few drain holes; I have noticed that when it rains heavily, the plants can flood and hold too much water. We have drilled holes in the back to allow rain to slowly drain. The functionality allows for me to hang the planter on a trelis.

Very flimsy. The other Esschert window boxes are much sturdier and have detachable hooks. I'd return, but I don't want to eat the shipping cost. I'll figure out how to decorate with it, but I don't trust it with plants.

I was hoping to purchase several of these to cover a large section of fence, however, the quality is lacking. The metal is thin and I am afraid the hooks will break if I even plant anything in it. I will not purchase more.

Wish this was a little sturdier and had drain holes. I had to drill some holes into the bottom for it to work properly as a planter (maybe this was just meant for decoration?) It sits a little weird on our railing probably because the material is pretty thin. It's also a little smaller than expected.

Very cute planter. It's large and fairly deep. Not terribly heavy duty but once you fill with your soil it has a good weight to it. Fits nicely on my wood deck rail.

The design is nice and the price is right, probably could be slightly cheaper, but the handles are a bit wobbly. That being said, I don't think they're going anywhere once you hang them.

Have finally got round to sorting these out, just need to drill the holes and pot them in properly. Despite measurements being provided they are a bit smaller than I expected and now that I have them I've realised I can get 2 side by side on the railings so will need to get another 2 for the other window! They look fab and are a welcome splash of greenery to an otherwise boring apartment block (envy of the neighbours; they'll all be doing it soon!). Despite being made of a malleable metal they are still quite sturdy and I haven't noticed any give in the hooks with the weight of the plants. Being in quite an exposed location I am going to employ some cable ties to make sure the wind doesn't take them for a ride! This is mainly because once the campanulas and fuschias I put in them get bigger and start trailing they might catch it like a sail. Highly unlikely but I don't really want to cause someone a head injury! Overall I'm very pleased with them! The final thing I thought was that there was a really unnecessary level of packaging when they arrived...

Looks nice, fits my balcony's railing well. Like other reviewers said, it did not have drainage holes so we drilled a few in and sanded down the small sharp pieces.

Guter Service, gute Verpackung. Danke.
