Excellent Ice fishing tent. First time I used it was a cold (-10 Celsius) windy and snowy day. A little buddy heater kept it nice and warm inside.

Ok so I’ve used this all season in all sorts of weather. I love it. It’s my first shelter but I feel like I can tell what I’m missing and what is done well. For starters, it’s pretty easy to set up and take down. I’m a one man crew, as my 6 year old prefers flying his kite while I set up and take down. The pros: the shelter is easy to use, and easy to set up (mostly). Also definitely worth mentioning the poles included are TOUGH. Yesterday was super windy and I had a hard time setting this up and my poles were bent practically at 90 degrees. I like the windows, and the gear pocket. I also enjoy the flaps to put snow on. The zippers are reliable.CONS: not entirely easy to set up as a one man crew. Would be nice if it came with some parachord to tie out the sides. MAN…yesterday was really windy and I had to take a bolt out of a corner to bolt out a side. The side kept collapsing in and slapping my kid every 2 minutes. I had to take the rope off his sled to peg it out. Note to self and others, buy 4 extra bolts, and some parachord with the side loops and BOLT THE SIDES OUT. Any wind and it’ll push the sides in. This should be an easy fix, I’ll go to Lowes and buy 4 more lag bolts and washers and just tie out my sides next time. The included pegs are nice and come in a case, but without the drill attachment don’t even dream of hand screwing these in. Since all of the drill adapters for pegs are sold out everywhere I ended up buying lag bolts, 2” washers, and a driving bit. Works perfect. I do REALLLLLLY wish Eskimo offered to include the drill adapter for an added cost. Those sell out everywhere every winter. The added security of a package deal would certainly be well received and we’ll worth it.As far as insulated or not, this one is not, but I’m plenty warm because I dress that way. This shelter is more for the wind than the warmth here in NH where I’m not fishing in negative temperatures ever really. In conclusion I’d definitely recommend this shelter. You’ll need a shovel to clear ground, a drill to peg it out, and 8 lag bolts+washers for the 4 corners and to bolt out all four sides. $300 later and you’ll be fishing comfortably, out of the wind!

Held up well this winter except for one ice anchor that broke, but it was an extra anyways. Holds heat well and can comfortably fit 3 people. The window placement is good. The backpack carrying bag makes moving this tent around on foot very easy and is a great addition, you can walk a good distance on foot with it

Eskimo is the best. A solid product that is easy to set up. First time we used it the winds were gusting to 60Km/h! Thing makes a good kite too. Once set up and inside we found it cozy. Only sown side is the anchor screws tend to bend if you are not careful starting the anchor hole.

This QuickFish 3 is the perfect size for 2 adults or an adult and a couple of kids to fish out of. I've had it out on the ice 4 times since buying it. It sets up very quickly and folds down just as fast. It does take a little work to get it back into the bag, but it is not too hard to do even after a long day fishing.I got the non-insulated version, and it stays very warm with the Mr. Heater MH9BX Buddy propane heater on low in temps around 0 degrees F. (It does have two exhaust vents in the roof to help the air circulate)The door zippers are very robust and looks like they will stand up to abuse. The included ice anchors are very nice and strong and do an excellent job of holding the tent down. It also includes tie-down lines but I have not had to use them, even in moderately windy weather. It has just the right amount of windows so you can see your traps in multiple directions. There are two pockets on the interior walls, but they are pretty tight and not super usable for anything other than flat things (your phone, etc.)As others have noted, these are not really meant to be waterproof, but I didn't have any leak problems when we had a light rain one day while on the ice.The size is ideal for two adults fishing out of two holes, with flashers, etc. I think three adults fishing would be cramped, but if you are just using it as a warm-up/hang out shelter then 4 adults can comfortably sit in there and chat, drink beer, etc without feeling too cramped.Overall very happy with the purchase!

The Quick fish 3 is a really nice ice hut for the guy who goes alone, or has a buddy along. Lightweight and really portable fits my sled with the rest of my gear, quick set up, Tip, directions say pop roof first, well it is better to start with a side first then go around all sides then step inside and pop up the roof, plenty of room inside 80 inches tall inside and fishing area is 70x 70 with like 80 inches elbow room, two can fish real easy could do 3 also, if just useing to keep warm 4 guys wold fit well. love this hut.when tearing hut down push roof in first then all 4 sides, then fold coner over to oposing corner, then bring sides in and roll up.

Sets up quickly and comes down quickly. First rate materials and overall a great tent. It is perfect for two people, it would be a little tight for three people if they had a lot of equipment.

Havent had it out on the lake yet. Set it up in my basement so I could be familiar with it. Set up is quick and easy, zippers move smoothly and freely. Lots of room inside. Windows open to let light in, and you can remove the clear plastic for additional air flow if needed. There are two roof vents that can be opened to keep fresh air entering the tent. The black lining makes it nice and dark inside. Everything looks great, but the true test will be in a few weeks when i get it on the ice. The only reason for not rating this 5 stars is the fact I havent used it in real world conditions
